Our struggle is not against people but against spiritual forces of evil. We need to intentionally put on the armor of God every morning before we actually start our day so that we will be effective and successful in fighting the enemy. The enemy, the devil, Satan, whatever you want to call him, the devil's most effective warfare tactic is lying. He's been doing it from the beginning. He's deceived the whole world. The whole truth is that you've been given the righteousness of God. Oh, you're not excited about that yet, but you will. Okay? One of the quickest ways that the enemy can defeat us is by robbing us of peace. You know, and when he does that, then you're left with anxiety and worry and fear, and which actually sets the tone for your day. It affects your decision making.
