This is about perseverance um I honestly I I never uh I I just never really got excited about that that term term stand firm um it's this whole idea of all these attacks coming towards you you're just standing there I I think I'm always thinking offense I want to try to go do this this this I want to accomplish this. The Bible says if you have have this armor on then you are able to stand firm somehow you can stand in the strength of God some of these thoughts that you think they're not coincidental they're demonic when your mind starts thinking you know what I've already fallen so many times I can't do it it's demonic it's demonic. He starts with truth because the enemy is always going to try to distort the truth and for thousands of years people have believed the same truths the scriptures have taught the same truths and yet in our generation especially in our area of the world all of that's being questioned now why is it coincidence no there's a scheme going on. In all circumstances say take up the shield of Faith with which you can extinguish all the Flaming darts of the evil one now this this Shield that they the word that they use here is not the little round like Captain America shield it's about this it's was about like 4 feet high um you know about 2 feet wide. At some point there's never going to be enough facts it's good that we know how to defend our faith but at the end of the day you're not going to survive without Faith at some point in your life it's not just about this reasoning until I get enough facts study study study but at some point you just go you know what I know this is true. Somehow when I pray I can pray like I could just pray like gosh what comes to my mind um I pray you all make it home safely but is that really what the spirit wanted me to pray that somehow like in uh uh in Romans 8: 26 he says about the spirit he goes likewise the spirit helps us in our weakness. Part of our survival part part the way we persevere against all this darkness is we pray for each other He commands so I pray I pray God help Elliot to live this whole life standing firm against everything that's going to come against him pray for grace that she would stand firm God so many attacks for these young people.
