“Some Sundays worship moves you and you you feel it and you feel and you feel the anointing, you feel on fire. And some days you're tired or you're angry or you're distracted or you're broken. And you can have a week where you don't feel like a very impressive Christian. I've had weeks where I feel like I must be the worst pastor in the whole world. But the beauty of God's grace is that God gives you something outside of yourself to anchor yourself He put his name on you. He put his work on you. He sealed you with his spirit, not your own. And so your emotions can change and your circumstance can change, but God's promise on your life does not. If he sealed it, you can't break it.”
37s
“So any of you, if you ever wonder, does God want me? You have a direct and definitive answer every time you look at Jesus. You just have to look at the cross. No, predestination isn't supposed to make you afraid of God, and it's not make you feel like you're superior to others, that you're in some club that others are not. It's supposed to remind you that your salvation rests on something bigger and stronger than your attempt at holding on to him. It's him holding on to you.”
27s
“That's not how God treats you in his house. You're not the guest he's politely waiting out for you to leave. That's that's not who you are. You're his son. You're his daughter. Furthermore, he gave his perfect son so that the imperfect one could come into the house. That's who you are.”
