#GodOverWealth
“``The wicked get their wealth. They get their money, and he gets God. Who comes out on top? When you are perishing, when you lie dead in your grave, what can your wealth and power do to save you? Nothing. Not a blessed thing. But when you lie dead in your grave over and over, the Lord God can raise you. can save you in a way that the idols of these wicked people never can.”

#RedemptionByChrist
“Regardless of what it is that we've been trusting, regardless of which idol we have been bowing to down to, he will wash us clean. He will make us whole. His blood was shed for us on the cross to take away our sin. Through his death, he has taken on himself our death sentence. And through his resurrection, he has promised us new life. Not the rich and decadent life at the expense of others that that the psalmist was talking about here, but an abundant and eternal life given to us as a free gift by a father who loves us through his son.”

#BuildOnTheRock
“You gotta build your house on the rock because our hope is only as strong and as enduring as the thing that our hope is in. Ought we to lay our hopes in a bank account balance? All it takes now is a computer error, and it's gone. Should we lay our hope in our intelligence and our ability to figure out the problems that we face? Some of you are wicked smart, but your ability to problem solve your way out of a out of an issue is one stroke away. Is there any other place for us to lay our hopes than in the eternal god who was and is and always will be? There is no other place that we can place our hope. There is no other place that we can build the foundation of our lives on.”

#RockInStorms
“Because if we do not if we do not, all other ground is sinking sand because the storm will come and the wind will blow. And if we have built our houses upon the shifting sand of this world, then we then we will not last that day. We will not survive that day. Woe is us because we will be undone. But if we have placed the trust of our lives, if we have built the houses of our lives, whether a mansion or a shack on the rock, then that storm can rage. The wind can blow, and we will not be moved.”
