#DadLeadsToGod
“And when the life falls apart, they know exactly who to call because they watched dad do it. They saw dad repent. They saw dad pray. They saw dad trust god. Most importantly, they saw dad refuse to move forward without the presence of god. And years from now and after we're gone, may our children and grandchildren say that dad showed us where to run. Right? And may it be said by the men of harvest what Paul said to Timothy, by the holy spirit who dwells within us, we guard the deposit entrusted to us. Men, lead your family into the presence of God and never settle for the blessings of God without the God who gives them.”

#WatchfulFathers
“So if if Paul tells us to be watchful, then we ought to ask, what are we watching for? No army post guards where there's no enemy? No quarterback studies film where there's no defense? No father locks the door at night unless there's something worth protecting? And if Satan attacks fatherhood so relentlessly, perhaps it's because godly men and godly fathers are far more dangerous to the kingdom than we realize, kingdom of darkness than we realize. The enemy does not attack things that don't matter. Right? He attacks things that threaten him.”

#LegacyOfFaith
“See, Moses, he had victory. He had prosperity. He had blessing. He had everything that he should have wanted in that moment. Right? Crazy thing is he didn't actually get to go over later. He was given that opportunity right there. Right? But God said, I will not go with you. And Moses answered, if your presence will not go with me, do not bring us up from here. Men likely at some point, your children will call you or come back to you and they're stuck. Not just physically, but spiritually, emotionally, morally. The greatest joy you will have is not that they inherited your money, not that they inherited your hunting rifle, not that they inherited your lake cabin, but that they inherited your path to the father. Yes. Amen.”

#CounterfeitKingdoms
“But if Satan can't destroy a man, he'll distract him. He'll corrupt those desires and point them to earthly things that seem to fill the void, but the problem is they don't require anything eternal. He knows you long for a battle, so he gives you video games or sports. Right? Yep. He knows you long for adventure, so he might give you action movies or hobbies. That battle between good and evil, but live it out through superheroes. We got the battle of good and evil right in front of us. Right? Right. Head to the battle. We can we can get in that one. What he does is he gives you counterfeit kingdoms.”

#KnowTheirHearts
“The thing is before long, a man can spend hours knowing the depth chart of his favorite team and not knowing the hearts of his own children. Right. He can know batting average but not bible verses. He can know every statistic and every draft pick and still not know the spiritual condition of his family. Those things aren't necessarily evil, but they become dangerous when they consume the passion God intended for something greater. And I'm telling you this from a point a place of guilt. Because for the first let's see. Thirteen years of being a father, I knew more about the Minnesota Twins lineup and stats than I did about the bible.”

#GuardTheDeposit
“That deposit, that's your your wife, your children, but also your your talents and your calling that he's placed on you. It's a deposit that's been entrusted to you. And we need to understand that because fathers play such an important role in God's perfect order. Right? Satan's gonna try to corrupt that. Right. Because he can't create anything, so he's gotta corrupt it. And a father isn't just raising children. He's preserving and transmitting a legacy.”

#ExposeTheEnemy
“You might say, well, what about the obvious things that, you know, affect men? Lust, anger, addiction, those types of things. They are serious things. Those are symptoms. Right? Right. We're we're gonna look under the hood. These are principles, not root issues. If if Satan can get a man isolated, distracted, afraid, and prideful, a thousand different sins can grow from there. Right? I'm not trying to catalog every sin that we're gonna deal with. That's that would be the do better message. Right? I'm trying to expose the enemy's game plan.”

#IronSharpensIron
“We need other men that you've we've given permission to call us out. Other men to encourage. Some will refer to it kind of as Matt Carriers or, you know, King's Table, where you have that guy for analogy of David. You have that guy like Joab that's always ready to run into battle for you. You have that guy that is like Jonathan closer than a brother. Right? And you have that guy like Nathan that's not afraid to tell you, call you out, and call you out to your face. Right?”
