#PrayBig
“When we think about Jabez, somehow in the midst of his circumstances, Jabez was not praying village prayers. He was praying he was praying, Lord, would you expand my territory? If someone was to listen to your prayers, if someone was to come and just say, you know, imagine as you prayed, they just wrote down what you prayed, Would they go and they thought about the kind of God that you're describing. Would they go, oof, yep, village God right there. What if in our prayer meetings when we gathered as a church, someone was to listen to how we prayed? What kind of God would our prayers be describing? Because you see, your prayer will only rise to the level of God that you have in your mind and in your heart.”

#AskForTheWhole
“The father is saying to Jesus, ask me for the whole world. And you know, this is not just an isolated incident, This is how God invites us to pray. You noticed that there was this moment, Abraham prayed to God and he said, God, I just want one child. What does God do? He takes him outside on a starry night and he says, look at the stars. If you could number these, that's what I wanna give you. When Moses dies and Joshua is about to take people into the promised land, the Lord says to him, wait. Wait. Wait. Wait. Wait. Before you go in, I want you to see the complete boundaries of everything that I'm giving to you guys. I want you to have the whole thing.”

#SeeGodChangePrayer
“Do you know what he's saying in a nutshell there? Seeing who God is helps you understand what God wants to do. That's that's that that that passage that I just read in Ephesians in a nutshell. If you see God as he is, if you experience him, if you get to know him as he is, your prayers automatically start changing because you start to see what he wants to do. You realize that he's not on the throne going, stop it, stop it, stop it, he's like, Pray, pray, pray.”

#AlignWithHisHeart
“``Imagine you planned your child's birthday party. You put presents under the tree and you planned it in great detail because you know them and you know what it it will delight them And then they said to you, I don't deserve this birthday party, so I'm going to bed. That would delight you, wouldn't it? That would make you think they really, really, really are so humble and respectful and they have such a great picture of you. I think that's the sound of our prayer sometimes. The father is going pray, ask for increase, I love you, I've got so much more and we're like, Lord, this is where I'm praying and God is no, you should be praying here. Can you see that enlarge my territory is not a selfish prayer? It's a prayer that aligns with the father's heart for us, who he's created us to be in him.”
