Sermon Clips

1. "We want you to vote for the policies that line up with the word. We don't vote for personalities. We vote for policies. Those are so important. Personalities come and go, but policies, they affect your life and the truth of the scripture." [27:39] (18 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip | )

2. "Jesus didn't die to keep us safe. He died to make us dangerous. Faithfulness is not holding the fort. It's storming the gates of hell. Can I get an amen? Look at this. The will of God is not an insurance plan. It's a daring plan. Say daring plan. Daring." [33:22] (17 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip | )

3. "Serving is not just filling a need. It's becoming fully engaged in the mission of God, whether it's greeting people, parking people, teaching kids, worshiping in our life group. We serve, and as we serve, we grow spiritually. In fact, Jesus is our model, right? Look at Mark chapter 10, verse 43. For even the Son of Man came not to be served, but to do what? Serve others." [39:19] (30 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip | )

4. "Be fully engaged in being who you were designed to be. You didn't just show up, but the master artisan himself, God, created you before the foundation of the earth was ever made. And he gifted you. Made you just the way you are. First Peter 4 and 10 says this, God has given each of you a gift, say a gift, from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another." [37:48] (33 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip | )

5. "If you're sitting on the sidelines waiting for someone else, no, it's up to you to serve. Maybe you think, well, I'm too busy. No, you're not too busy. Or maybe you think, well, I don't know enough, or I'm not qualified enough. Guess what? God doesn't call people that are qualified. He qualifies the called." [37:48] (21 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip | )

6. "When we're fully engaged, we move from just attending church to being the church. Church, would you stand on your feet this morning? Pray for us that we could experience the continued joy of connecting with one another and see God work through us." [01:01:44] (22 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip | )

7. "I know there's hurt in the house. I know that. Some of you carry church hurt of, it really wasn't the church did, it was people who did it. And every time you turn around, you see somebody else make a mistake. You see somebody else make a mistake. You see somebody fail. Every day I dread waking up and seeing who else has failed. But listen, for one or two who failed, let me show you a room full of people that are here." [01:00:03] (23 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip | )

8. "So today I want to look at a couple of things of how we can engage in the local church. First of all, by serving. And second of all, by joining a life group. Mark Batterson addressed this subject about being fully engaged in one of his books. And this is what he wrote. When did we start believing that God wants to send us to safe places to do easy things? That faithfulness is holding the fort." [32:49] (25 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip | )

9. "Several months ago I ran across a little article that said if Satan were going to write the beatitudes, here's what he would write. And I want to share this with you. These are Satan's beatitudes. Blessed are they who are too tired and busy to go to church on Sundays. For they're my best. Best workers. Blessed are those who are bored with the minister's mannerisms and mistakes and made up words. For they get nothing out of his sermon." [34:16] (32 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip | )

10. "So today I want to just encourage us, stop coasting, stop keeping the clutch in, let the clutch out, put it in gear, and be part of this church either through serving or small groups. So let's look through these points today real quickly. Number one, be fully engaged in being who you were designed to be." [36:11] (19 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip | )
