#EncourageWithGrace
“Barnabas isn't that person. He also and not only does he not say, you know, at least and and try to minimize the the hard things going on, he also doesn't give false hope about things that he doesn't know. He doesn't say, well, trust me. God's going to do x, y, and z for you. He he doesn't give any kind of empty encouragement. He he doesn't make these empty statements. There's no fortune cookie lines in what he says. He points to concrete things that they could not deny. The things that God's grace had done. He saw all that the grace of God had done. See, encouragers grace, especially when other people can't see it. Encouragers see grace. They see God at work, and they point it out to people to help them keep going with Jesus.”

#InviteAndEquip
“But encouragers ask this question, who else could do what I'm doing? Who else could do what you do? Like, identify them and pull them in. Barnabas, and notice, he's not asking for more volunteers. He's not saying, hey, why don't you guys give me some names? He's he's saying, he is identifying somebody that he knows could do it. He's looking for someone who can do what he does, and he says to him, come serve God with me.”

#SeeGodInPain
“And yet in the midst of all the pain and the struggle that's going on in that community, Barnabas can point out to them what God has been doing. That's what we need. We need people who will point out, who who will recognize, who will see what God is doing in the middle of all the difficult things that we face. That's what gives us hope and purpose.”
