#JesusTookOurPlace
“But then imagine someone volunteering to take that condemned person's place. Imagine someone saying, I will trade places with that criminal. I will take their punishment so that they can go free. I know that situation sounds absurd, but that's essentially what Jesus has done on our behalf. He stood where we belong. He went to the cross that should have been ours. He lived the life we should have lived and then he died the death we should have died.”

#ResurrectionMakesTombMeaningful
“The angel then also says, see the place where they laid him. He's inviting them to see there's there's no body here. The tomb is empty. Now, the empty tomb in itself is not the definitive proof of the resurrection. After all, even in that day, rumors were spread by the Jewish authorities that the body was simply stolen. It's not the empty tomb that makes the resurrection meaningful. It's the resurrection that makes the empty tomb meaningful. He's not here because he's risen.”
