Day 1: Generosity and Prayer as Catalysts for Mission
The growth and reach of Enduring Word are largely attributed to the generosity of donors and the prayers of believers. This partnership allows the ministry to provide free Bible resources globally, emphasizing the power of community in advancing God's work. The collective effort of individuals who contribute financially and spiritually creates a foundation for the ministry to thrive and expand its reach. This reflects the biblical principle that when believers come together in unity, their combined efforts can achieve great things for the Kingdom of God. [09:00]
"Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver." (2 Corinthians 9:7, ESV)
Reflection: How can you contribute to a ministry or cause that aligns with your values, either through prayer or financial support, this week?
Day 2: Breaking Language Barriers for Discipleship
Enduring Word's commitment to translating Bible resources into multiple languages highlights the importance of accessibility in discipleship. By breaking language barriers, the ministry ensures that more people can engage with God's Word in their native tongue. This effort is crucial for reaching a global audience and making the gospel accessible to all, regardless of their linguistic background. The translation work is a significant investment, but it is essential for fostering a deeper understanding of the Bible across diverse cultures. [06:54]
"For at that time I will change the speech of the peoples to a pure speech, that all of them may call upon the name of the Lord and serve him with one accord." (Zephaniah 3:9, ESV)
Reflection: Is there a language or cultural barrier you can help bridge in your community to share God's love more effectively?
Day 3: Freely Sharing the Gospel
Offering Bible study materials without charge or ads reflects Enduring Word's dedication to making discipleship accessible to all. This approach underscores the value of freely sharing the gospel and trusting God to provide through His people. By removing financial barriers, the ministry ensures that everyone, regardless of their economic status, can access quality Bible study resources. This model of generosity and faith in God's provision serves as an example of how ministries can operate with integrity and trust in divine support. [08:16]
"Freely you have received; freely give." (Matthew 10:8b, ESV)
Reflection: What is one way you can freely share your resources or talents with others this week, trusting God to provide for your needs?
Day 4: Harnessing Technology for Gospel Growth
The increase in page views and app downloads demonstrates the effectiveness of digital platforms in spreading the gospel. This growth is a reminder of the potential impact of technology in reaching diverse audiences worldwide. By leveraging digital tools, Enduring Word can connect with individuals across the globe, providing them with access to Bible teachings and resources. This approach highlights the importance of adapting to modern methods of communication to effectively share the message of Christ in today's world. [03:03]
"And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come." (Matthew 24:14, ESV)
Reflection: How can you use technology in your daily life to share the gospel or encourage others in their faith journey?
Day 5: Sharing in the Rewards of Ministry
By supporting Enduring Word, whether through prayer or financial contributions, individuals share in the spiritual rewards of the ministry. This partnership reflects the biblical principle that the fruit of ministry is credited to all who participate. When believers invest in God's work, they become part of a larger mission, experiencing the joy and fulfillment that comes from seeing lives transformed by the gospel. This shared reward encourages continued support and engagement in ministry efforts. [09:44]
"Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the fruit that increases to your credit." (Philippians 4:17, ESV)
Reflection: In what ways can you actively participate in a ministry or mission, knowing that your involvement contributes to the spiritual growth and impact of the work?
Sermon Summary
Enduring Word is a ministry dedicated to promoting Christian discipleship and evangelism worldwide, primarily through the dissemination of Bible teaching resources. Our mission is to provide these resources for free, without any subscription fees or paid ads, ensuring that everyone has access to quality Bible study materials. In 2022, we witnessed significant growth across various platforms, a testament to God's blessing and the prayers of many believers.
Our main website, which offers comprehensive Bible commentary, saw over three and a half million page views per month, marking a 17% increase from the previous year. The top countries accessing our resources include the USA, the Philippines, and the UK, among others. Additionally, our mobile app has been downloaded over half a million times, with page views increasing by 38% compared to 2021. Our YouTube channel, featuring daily devotionals and weekly live Q&A sessions, has grown to over 95,000 subscribers, with monthly views exceeding 350,000.
We have also expanded our reach through language-specific websites, now available in Spanish, Arabic, Chinese, Farsi, Russian, Italian, Portuguese, and German. These sites collectively receive 550,000 page views monthly, a 15% increase from the previous year. Our Bible commentary is also accessible on platforms like Blue Letter Bible and various Bible resource apps in multiple languages.
Our translation work remains a significant focus, as we strive to make Bible resources available in the world's most spoken languages. This effort is our largest expense, but it is crucial for reaching a global audience. In 2022, we launched new dedicated websites for Italian, Portuguese, Russian, German, and Farsi speakers.
All of this is made possible by the generosity of our donors and the prayers of our supporters. We are grateful for every contribution, whether financial or spiritual, as it enables us to continue providing free resources to millions worldwide. We invite you to join us in prayer and, if possible, consider partnering with us financially to further this mission.

Sermon Clips
Enduring Word exists to promote the work of Christian discipleship and evangelism worldwide mainly through the publication and dissemination of the Bible teaching work of David Guzik and like-minded people. Well, I'm David Guzik, and so the main thing that's distributed by Enduring Word is my commentary on the entire Bible. [00:00:09]
We give away Bible study resources that we believe are helpful for at least some for Christian discipleship and evangelism, and we do this at no charge. We give away these resources on our own website and on partner websites, on Bible apps, both our own apps and others. [00:00:38]
All of it for free, all of it with no subscription, no VIP levels, and with no paid ads on any of our own websites or apps. So what's happened with all of these platforms in 2022? Well, I'm happy to say that under the blessing of God and because of the prayers of people like you and many other believers, our reach just keeps on growing. [00:01:04]
The enduring word main website, the English website with commentary on the entire Bible with lots of Bible teaching and video and audio format, again with no paid ads, we have more than three and a half million page views a month. That's up 17% over 2021. [00:01:25]
We've had the unbelievable blessing of help from some beautiful people to revise and develop the app with access to Bible commentary and lots of other resources. More than half a million people have downloaded our free app on both the Apple Store and Google Play Store. [00:02:35]
Now we have enduring word subdomains in Spanish, Arabic, Chinese, Farsi, Russian, Italian, Portuguese, and German. That's a combined 550,000 page views a month, again up 15% from 2021. The enduring word Bible commentary is still available on Blue Letter Bible. [00:03:38]
We continue to translate the enduring word Bible commentary into the world's most used languages and a few strategic languages. In that effort, in 2022, we launched a new dedicated website for the commentary in Italian, Portuguese, Russian, German, and Farsi, adding to our websites in Spanish, Arabic, and Chinese. [00:06:29]
We invest a huge amount into our translation and foreign language work. It's our biggest single expense, but we're happy to do what we can to get quality, free, helpful Bible resources into the hands of a global audience. [00:07:26]
All of this adds up to a reach of more than 90 million clicked on views of material a year. And look, when I say clicked on, I mean something more than something that drips into someone's social media timeline, something that they scroll through. I'm talking about content that comes to people actively, not passively. [00:07:41]
This is only possible because of the generosity of our donors. We have some who give a little, we have our widows who give their mites, and we're so grateful for it. And we have some people who are able to give more, but we appreciate everyone who partners with our work through either prayer or a donation. [00:08:41]
I do believe the principle that's reflected in Philippians chapter 4 verse 17, that when you join in our work through your generosity, the fruit of our ministry abounds to your account. You truly share in the reward of the fruit. [00:09:39]
We have a wonderful team of both employees and people that we use on a contract basis to just come together to do a wonderful work. I'm so appreciative for that team, and I think what I've told you here today kind of demonstrates God is using their efforts in a marvelous way. [00:10:24]
