1. "And because we do not talk about the Holy Spirit, His involvement in our lives and His working, He is not part of our conversation and even in the way we process our faith and understanding. He is almost transparent, a silent partner. And I think that is to our detriment. And we are shortchanging ourselves. And that may partly explain why our lives feel so powerless." 2. "The main point is only the power of the Holy Spirit can change and transform us. And we need the power of the Holy Spirit to serve, to serve Christ, to serve one another, to serve the Church." [10:52] (18 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip)

3. "The Holy Spirit is a very significant person of the Trinity itself. But somehow, along the way, through our journey as Christians, He seemed to have been lost in our conversation and even in our interaction and as community and even in our teaching. He seems to be so far behind that we forget about Him." [11:41] (24 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip)

4. "The transformation of your life is spiritual in nature and requires power. What do I mean by that? Because the transforming of your life cannot be done by the flesh. It cannot be achieved by human efforts. It is not about reorganizing your life, changing your lifestyle, gaining better habits, or even doing certain things like, which I want to be mindful, not that it's unimportant, like reading the Bible, attending church services, or even serving. These things are important in its proper place, but they will not transform you." [18:12] (45 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip)

5. "We need the power of the Holy Spirit. We need the working of the Holy Spirit in our lives that we might change to become more Christ-like and live this spiritual life in victory. There is this quote that I think helps to explain this. Someone says, salvation is a moment. The moment you accept faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, you are saved. Guaranteed. You are in Christ. Yes, wonderfully. But the transformation of a life to become Christ-like, into glory, from glory to glory, is a lifetime process itself." 6. "Another reason why the Holy Spirit is important is because the work of God is spiritual in nature and requires power. If you look in Acts 1 verse 8, something that we read earlier on in the opening passage, Jesus, the disciples had already been with Jesus all these years. And now after His resurrection, another 40 years, He has taught them, explained to them, and now they understand the meaning of His resurrection and so forth. And you would think that that would suffice. They've been with Jesus, understand everything, they have knowledge, go forth and bear witness. And yet Jesus tells them, no, wait." 7. "When you remove the power and the presence of the Holy Spirit from the church life and the community, we just end up being just like any other human institution, enterprise and organisation. And that to me, I think is a worrying trend. Ask yourself, how many things that we are doing today does not require the power of the Holy Spirit? And I think because we have not put that into an important factor and consideration, the church is in danger of becoming man-centric, man-focused." 8. "The enemy of the Gospel is not flesh and blood. Yes, we have people opposing the Gospel, opposing us from telling the truth, from preaching Christ. But the true enemy behind this veneer of flesh are demons, principalities, powers of darkness, powers of the air. Why would we ever think that our own human efforts would be able to overcome them and gain victory? In fact, they laugh at us and encourage us to continue in that stupid path itself because they know we will never defeat them." [30:13] (39 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip)

9. "The Holy Spirit will permanently now dwell in all who believe in Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit doesn't have to be, you don't have to do anything to achieve it. The moment you believe in Jesus Christ, the Spirit of God will dwell in you straight away, immediately. And if you believe in Jesus Christ right now, the Holy Spirit is with you, in you forever. You don't have to call out to Him as if He's outside. He is living in you. You are now the temple of God. We are now the temple of God." 10. "The Holy Spirit will have the ability to convict and convert people of their sin and into Christ. You know, it is not by our arguments or our knowledge and even our skill and ability or experience that brings people to faith. Do you know that? Because if it's true, then all it takes is to have a better argument, better knowledge, better skill, better experience to bring the person out of faith. The person of conversion and converting from sin, convicted of sin to become converted to a believer is a spiritual miracle work that is only done by the power of the Holy Spirit."
