There is unmatched power and authority in the name of Jesus, and when believers call on His name with faith, miracles, healing, and deliverance are released. The early church witnessed a lame man rise and walk simply by the declaration of Jesus’ name, and the same authority is available to every believer today. The enemy fears the moment you realize what is available to you in Jesus’ name, because when you speak it in faith, chains are broken, sickness flees, and lives are transformed. You don’t need silver or gold or special rituals—just faith in the name above every name. Let your faith rise today and boldly declare the name of Jesus over every situation in your life. [50:39]
Acts 3:6-8 (ESV)
But Peter said, “I have no silver and gold, but what I do have I give to you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk!” And he took him by the right hand and raised him up, and immediately his feet and ankles were made strong. And leaping up, he stood and began to walk, and entered the temple with them, walking and leaping and praising God.
Reflection: What is one area of your life where you need to boldly speak the name of Jesus and believe for a miracle today?
Authority in the spiritual realm is not about formulas or borrowed words, but about a living relationship with Jesus. The sons of Sceva tried to use the name of Jesus without knowing Him, and the enemy recognized their lack of true authority. When you are baptized into Christ and walk with Him daily, you carry His name and His authority wherever you go. The devils know who truly belongs to Jesus, and when you walk in that identity, you can stand boldly against any opposition. Make sure your life is rooted in Christ, so that when you speak His name, heaven and earth respond. [01:03:34]
Acts 19:13-17 (ESV)
Then some of the itinerant Jewish exorcists undertook to invoke the name of the Lord Jesus over those who had evil spirits, saying, “I adjure you by the Jesus whom Paul proclaims.” Seven sons of a Jewish high priest named Sceva were doing this. But the evil spirit answered them, “Jesus I know, and Paul I recognize, but who are you?” And the man in whom was the evil spirit leaped on them, mastered all of them and overpowered them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded. And this became known to all the residents of Ephesus, both Jews and Greeks. And fear fell upon them all, and the name of the Lord Jesus was extolled.
Reflection: How can you deepen your relationship with Jesus this week so that you walk in true spiritual authority, not just words?
Worship is not just a song or a moment; it is a lifestyle that keeps you standing, even when life knocks you down. True worshipers are never satisfied to worship alone—they invite others in, and their praise lifts the discouraged and brings the presence of God into every situation. When you worship, you become a conduit for God’s power to flow through you to others. Even in pain or discouragement, choose to worship, and watch as God lifts you up and uses you to encourage those around you. [53:41]
Psalm 34:1-3 (ESV)
I will bless the Lord at all times; his praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul makes its boast in the Lord; let the humble hear and be glad. Oh, magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together!
Reflection: Who is one person you can intentionally encourage to worship with you this week, inviting them into God’s presence?
Whatever you do—at work, at home, in church, or in the community—do it all in the name of Jesus. Carrying His name means you represent Him everywhere you go, and His authority and presence go with you. Don’t be ashamed of who you are in Christ; let your light shine boldly, knowing that when you step into a room, Jesus steps in with you. Pray, serve, and love in His name, and watch as God uses your life to impact others for His glory. [01:20:35]
Colossians 3:17 (ESV)
And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
Reflection: What is one ordinary activity you can intentionally do “in Jesus’ name” today, inviting His presence and purpose into it?
God’s desire is to save, deliver, and fill every person with His Spirit. Repentance and faith in the name of Jesus open the door for forgiveness, transformation, and the infilling of the Holy Ghost. It’s not about rituals or formulas, but about a heart that turns to God and believes that He is able to do what He promised. If you need healing, deliverance, or a fresh touch from God, call on the name of Jesus, repent, and receive what He has for you. He is as close as the mention of His name, ready to lift you up and make you new. [01:38:48]
Acts 2:38 (ESV)
And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”
Reflection: Is there an area of your life where you need to repent and invite Jesus to fill you afresh with His Spirit today? What step will you take right now?
Today, we gathered in the presence of God to lift up the name of Jesus, to worship, and to be reminded of the power and authority that comes through faith in His name. We celebrated the truth that Jesus is mighty in battle, victorious, and that there is no one like Him. As we looked into Acts chapters 3 and 4, we saw how Peter and John, ordinary men without wealth or status, became conduits of God’s miraculous power simply because they had spent time with Jesus. The healing of the lame man at the temple gate was not about silver or gold, but about giving what they had—faith in the name of Jesus. This miracle sparked a wildfire of faith, leading thousands to believe, and it also provoked opposition from religious leaders who feared the spread of Jesus’ name.
We reflected on the reality that spending time with Jesus changes us, and as we become more like Him, we will face resistance from the world. Yet, it is precisely this identification with Jesus that brings miracles, deliverance, and transformation—not only in our lives but in the lives of those around us. The authority to minister, to heal, and to cast out oppression does not come from our own abilities, but from being connected to Jesus and carrying His name with reverence and faith.
We also examined the story of the seven sons of Sceva in Acts 19, who tried to use the name of Jesus without relationship or authority, and were overpowered by evil spirits. This is a sobering reminder that the power of Jesus’ name is not a formula or a magic word, but is effective only when we are truly in Christ—baptized in His name, filled with His Spirit, and living in obedience. The name of Jesus is precious, powerful, and not to be taken lightly or in vain. It is the name that saves, delivers, and brings new life.
We were challenged to live every aspect of our lives in the name of Jesus—at home, at work, in worship, and in prayer. We are called to be worshipers who cannot be kept down, who encourage others to worship, and who let the light of Christ shine in a world that desperately needs Him. The invitation was given to repent, to be baptized in Jesus’ name, to receive the Holy Ghost, and to walk in the authority and victory that only Jesus can give. Whatever the need—healing, deliverance, provision, or salvation—Jesus is present, and His name is enough.
Acts 3:1-16 (ESV) — > Now Peter and John were going up to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour. And a man lame from birth was being carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple that is called the Beautiful Gate to ask alms of those entering the temple. Seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, he asked to receive alms. And Peter directed his gaze at him, as did John, and said, “Look at us.” And he fixed his attention on them, expecting to receive something from them. And all the people saw him walking and praising God, and recognized him as the one who sat at the Beautiful Gate of the temple, asking for alms. And they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.

> While he clung to Peter and John, all the people, utterly astounded, ran together to them in the portico called Solomon’s. And when Peter saw it he addressed the people: “Men of Israel, why do you wonder at this, or why do you stare at us, as though by our own power or piety we have made him walk? The God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, the God of our fathers, glorified his servant Jesus, whom you delivered over and denied in the presence of Pilate, when he had decided to release him. But you denied the Holy and Righteous One, and asked for a murderer to be granted to you, and you killed the Author of life, whom God raised from the dead. To this we are witnesses. And his name—by faith in his name—has made this man strong whom you see and know, and the faith that is through Jesus has given the man this perfect health in the presence of you all.”
Acts 19:11-20 (ESV) — > And God was doing extraordinary miracles by the hands of Paul, so that even handkerchiefs or aprons that had touched his skin were carried away to the sick, and their diseases left them and the evil spirits came out of them. Also many of those who were now believers came, confessing and divulging their practices. And a number of those who had practiced magic arts brought their books together and burned them in the sight of all. And they counted the value of them and found it came to fifty thousand pieces of silver. So the word of the Lord continued to increase and prevail mightily.
Colossians 3:17 (ESV) — > And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
Somebody in this room needs to get the revelation. It's not your charisma. It's not your talent, your ability. Somebody needs to spend some time with Jesus. Come on, can you hear me? I said, somebody needs to say, I got to spend some time with Jesus. [00:48:27] (17 seconds) #TimeWithJesusTransforms
What is the church without Jesus? We're not trying to model our church after some kind of newfangled idea. Church isn't about the music and the lights and the instruments and the carpet. No. If Jesus doesn't show up, we ain't having nothing around here. We need to move a God every servant. [00:54:55] (26 seconds) #ChurchNeedsJesus
The level of faith was getting so high that they were just believing anything can happen. God can do anything. God can do anything. God can do. They were doing miracles. Jesus didn't even do miracles. Folks, they said, well, if we can touch Jesus, we'll be healed. But they said, if we can just touch a hanky to Paul, we can make a conduit that'll touch a sick person and they'll be healed. [01:01:03] (22 seconds) #FaithBelievesMiracles
When the enemy comes running you say I left you on the other side of a red sea get back where you came from you don't belong here I wish somebody would hear this preacher I'm not preaching to get your attention I'm preaching to help you understand you got it you got the power you got the authority and you got the name. [01:12:18] (23 seconds) #PowerInJesusNameAuthority
The name of Jesus simply means God is my salvation God saves God saves saves from what sin because our sins are against us do I need to be saved well depends on if you've sinned or not but the scripture makes it clear we've all sinned and we've fallen short of the glory of God so we've all messed up. [01:13:32] (29 seconds) #JesusMeansSalvation
Whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus. Do what? What is word or deed referring to? Some things. When you go to work, you're going in Jesus' name. When you come to church, you're coming in Jesus' name. When you step into your home, you're stepping into your home in Jesus' name. When you go to eat your dinner, you're eating in Jesus' name. When you go to bed, you're eating in Jesus... You're going and sleeping in Jesus' name. When you rise up and pray, you're praying in Jesus' name. [01:20:23] (32 seconds) #DoAllInJesusName
When you walk into the room, Jesus came with you. Amen. If you need deliverance today, Jesus is in this room. He said where two or three are gathered together in, I don't know, whose name? Can I tell you, the reason there's an all -out attack is because if you ever start realizing the power of the name of Jesus, and you stop letting that name of Jesus slip out of your mouth the wrong way, you slam your finger in the door. Anybody know what I'm talking about? [01:24:23] (36 seconds) #JesusComesWithYou
If you're oppressed today of the enemy, Jesus can deliver you of oppression. They brought to Jesus a man that was oppressed of a devil. He was mute and blind. And it says Jesus healed him. But Antonio, and when Jesus healed him, he spoke and he could see and the devil was cast out. Some sicknesses that we're dealing with are not just physical sicknesses. They're spiritual oppressions. And Jesus came to heal us of the oppression of the devil. [01:32:58] (36 seconds) #JesusDeliversOppression
It's not you. It's the connection to Jesus. Do you hear me? It's the connection. It's not you, girl. It's not how good you are, how bad you are, how bad your past is. It's how connected you are to Jesus that's going to take you to the next level. You're connected to him, girl. You're doing a good job. Keep it up. You stay on this path. Hallelujah. I want somebody to connect to Jesus right now. Can you just connect to him? In the best way you know how, can you say, Jesus, I know you're in this room. [01:37:30] (31 seconds) #ConnectionToJesus
