Embracing Your Destiny Through a Relationship with God

Since your destiny is so tied to your relationship with God, it is critical that you have one. And God has made provision for that relationship. You see, God loves you so much that He sent Jesus Christ, His son, to die on the cross in your place for your sin because sin is what blocks our relationship with God. [00:00:00]

2nd Corinthians 5:21 says, "He who knew no sin became sin for us that we might become the righteousness of God in Him." So here's the trade. If you'll give your sin to Christ who paid the price, God will exchange it and give Christ's righteousness to you. Not because you're perfect—He's just going to give you a perfect credit score so that you stand before a holy God as though you've never sinned by accepting Jesus Christ as your personal substitute. [00:00:28]

So right now, you can establish your relationship that will direct you to your destiny by going to God and simply saying from your heart, "God, I'm a sinner. I can't save myself, but I believe Jesus Christ died to save me. And I now place my eternal destiny into His hands. Thank you for the free gift of salvation that You promised to give me if I came to You for it." [00:00:58]

Father, thank You for all who've responded to the simple gospel message of salvation through Christ, and may this begin the journey to their destiny, into a full life of meaning with You. In Jesus' name, amen. [00:01:39]

Now that you've trusted Christ, connect with a Bible believing, Bible teaching Church so you can grow in your faith. Get connected with other Christians who can encourage you. Get into the Bible every day. Start with the book of Saint John which will introduce you more to Jesus Christ. Have a daily conversation with your new heavenly Father. [00:01:49]
