1. "Shiloh is a church that's unashamed about going after the loss. And I know right now in the church, if you read books and watch podcasts, there's a big push on discipleship. And I believe that's good. I agree, we need discipleship. As long as we do not use that as an excuse to never go after new people. To never go after the loss. Where we become so discipleship focused and not the loss focused that we create a culture where people that are far from the Lord or brand new to faith feel excluded from Jesus."

2. "We are not a self-help church. We are a savior help church. People are our heart. You can belong here. You can be a part of here well before you belong. Even before you believe, you are welcome here. We will share the gospel unashamedly. All people, all people need to hear the good news of Jesus Christ. Generosity is our privilege. Excellence is our spirit. Servant leadership is our identity. And honor is our calling."

3. "Vision creates direction. Without direction, without vision, we are off course. Several years ago when we were working with the kids, we were going to do a camp in Mission Springs when we used to do our family camp. And we were all packed up. And Pastor Melinda and I had a few people on the team with us. But we had all the gear. We had a huge SOE. We had UV in those days. We had a trailer. And we had all the gear for the summer camp. And we get into our vehicle. And we're having a great time. We're laughing. We're having a great time. And next thing you know, we ended up in Monterey."

4. "Vision helps you go further, faster. And as we give, even the rest of this year, I encourage you, start to pray, God, what would you have me give? Lord, give me the opportunity to be a part of what you're doing. Remember what Habakkuk said. We need to climb the tower and write it down. How many of you say, I commit to moving forward? I commit to moving forward in Jesus. How many of you say, I'm not staying where I'm at? I might look cute now, but I know God's got cuter for me in the days to come."

5. "See, vision rarely requires immediate action, but it always requires patience. See, most of you don't have a vision problem. You have a patience problem. You don't lack vision. You lack patience. But when we see clarity from God, what we learn is to be patient. This woman right here, she's helped me learn to be patient. I appreciate her. She's learned me how to go to God and wait on the Lord. Our prayer needs to be, Lord Jesus, give me clarity. Help me to be more patient. Help me to produce more confidence and security in me, in who you are."

6. "And I want to encourage you. You know, it's been an interesting season, just some of the questions men have been asking me specifically. And I had somebody recently ask me, how do I not grow weary in well-doing? You know, and I hear about burnout and people walking away from Jesus. You want to know why I don't walk away from Jesus? It's because every day, say it, every day, every day I spend time in God's Word. Every day I need a Word from God. Every day before I take my multivitamin, I need the multivitamin of God's Word."

7. "And I believe if we firmly want to get God's perspective, you're gonna have to go higher. Tell your neighbor, you ready to go higher? You're gonna have to climb the tower. You're gonna have to spend time in prayer. You know Habakkuk, that word means to wrestle. If you're gonna get God's vision, let me tell you, you better know how to fight. Ask your neighbor, you know how to fight? Tell him to show you their fist. You got some bruises on there? You got some cuts on there? You better know how to fight. Everything in this world is trying to steal the vision God has placed in your life."

8. "And I want to tell you what I see today is beautiful. Because it's not just a glimpse of what God has shown us on paper, but it's a glimpse of what God has shown us in the secret place, in that place of prayer. It's in His presence that we catch a glimpse of where He is leading us. And I want to encourage you. You know, it's been an interesting season, just some of the questions men have been asking me specifically."

9. "And I believe during this vision season, during this time, God's preparing us. He's changing us. And even as I've been preparing for what God wants to say right now, I want you to know that my life with Jesus is number one. It's my life. The body of Christ is number one. There's my relationship with God and my being a part of the body of Christ. The Bible says it's when we're grafted in, it's when we're connected that life flows. He says, abide. Abide. Abide in the vine more than 15 times in John 14. He says, abide. Tell your neighbor, abide."

10. "And I want to encourage you to take it to God. Go to Him. Recognize that God can transform that frustration. He can create passion for vision. You know a lot of what you see at Shiloh today. It stemmed out of frustration. Of us wanting to go deeper. Of us desiring to have a place where everyone can encounter God's presence. I've been to that church where they yell at you on the way in. Or they ignore you. I've been to that place where you wonder, are Christians nice? We want a place where people will encounter God."
