Paul begins by reminding the Philippians of their shared experiences in Christ—consolation, comfort of love, fellowship of the Spirit, affection, and mercy. These experiences form the basis for his call to unity. He encourages them to be like-minded, having the same love, and being of one accord. [00:04:16]

Unity in the body of Christ is achieved through humility and selflessness. By esteeming others better than ourselves and looking out for their interests, we create a community where everyone is valued and respected. This unity is a reflection of the mind of Christ, who humbled Himself for our sake. [00:09:22]

Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of Mind Let each esteemed others better than himself. Let each of you look out not only for his own interests but also for the interest of others. [00:09:22]

The kenosis of Christ, His self-emptying, is a profound demonstration of divine humility. Jesus, though fully God, chose to set aside His divine privileges to become a servant. This act of humility is a model for us to follow, reminding us that true greatness is found in serving others. [00:27:43]

Jesus' obedience, even unto death, highlights the importance of submission to God's will. His willingness to endure suffering and humiliation for our sake is a powerful testament to His love and commitment. As followers of Christ, we are called to emulate His obedience and trust in God's plan. [00:36:18]

The exaltation of Christ serves as a reminder of the ultimate victory of humility and service. God has highly exalted Jesus, giving Him the name above every name. This exaltation assures us that our humble service and obedience will not go unnoticed by God. [00:48:05]

The recognition of Jesus as Lord is a call to worship and submission. Every knee will bow, and every tongue will confess His lordship. This acknowledgment is not just a future event but a present reality that should shape our lives and relationships. [00:54:15]

Let this mind be in you which was in Christ Jesus. See how beautifully it flows. You see if there was anyone who knew how to walk in lowliness of mine it was Jesus. If there was anybody who knew how to put away selfish ambition and concede it was Jesus. [00:19:59]

He humbled himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the Cross. And now you've gone as low as you can go on the ladder of humiliation. You see it says that he humbled himself and became obedient. [00:35:17]

Therefore God has also highly exalted him and given him the name which is above every name that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow of those in heaven and of those on Earth and of those under the Earth. [00:48:05]

Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. You see, not only is Jesus exalted by the father but the whole world is brought into submission to the son. [00:54:15]

This is Unity among believers. When we have it, it's like a little piece of heaven on Earth to have this attitude among Believers it genuinely is, and that's what we should strive for and that's what we should thank God for. [00:59:37]
