1. "We serve a God who loves us and is eager to minister to us and speak to us this morning. So I hope your heart's full and ready to worship him. Let's go ahead and pray together. Father, we come to you with joy in our hearts. God, we are excited that we get to come and gather before you. You are the king of kings. You are victorious over all things. There is nothing in this universe that can oppose you and stand against you and win." [13:10] (26 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip)

2. "The rhythm of that over time is transformative. And I really wanna encourage you to do that. We had the privilege this week of going to the marriage conference that came to LLJ. And a bunch of us from the church went yesterday to that and were so ministered to. The husband and wife, there was a pastor and his wife who were kind of the primary speaker in that, shared their testimony of how their entire marriage shifted when they began to spend just even a few minutes together reading God's word and simply praying, reading a verse, reading a passage, praying a short prayer together on a daily basis together with husband and wife." 3. "We believe that God's called us to really invest in them and we really need some more volunteers. And we would love your help. We had the best time this summer. A bunch of people volunteered for the first time and they just really had a great time. Good time and made a lot of new friendships, even with adults. And so this is a cool opportunity to serve. If you're not already serving, this is a great way to jump in." [19:02] (20 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip)

4. "We don't come to church. We don't come just to get information here. We're seeking an encounter with God through his word together as the body of Christ. And he is so faithful to meet us in those moments. I'm so grateful. Well, as you guys can see, I get to preach not just this week, over the next two weeks as we've been looking at Bible study. I told you I'd mention this. I wanted to spend the next couple of weeks trying to set you guys up to be able to stand on the truth of God's word with even greater confidence." 5. "We believe the truth can be known. And we believe the truth can be revealed. We believe that the Holy Spirit is your guide into truth and that God's Word will reveal it to us. And it helps us to know our Creator. So Christianity, you've heard this, Christianity is about restoring sinful men and women back into fellowship with the God that we rebelled and sinned against. And all that is for His glory in our good. So we need to know who He is, what the standard is, so that we can submit to that and build our lives on that truth." 6. "If you try and live your personal life opposed to the truth, suppressing the truth, it's going to make a mess. If you try and run a church, or anything else for that matter, opposing the truth rather than submitting to it, it's going to make a huge mess. Those who reject God's truth and choose to live in opposition to Him will eventually fall prey to the father of lies, who is Satan, right? Who will lead them to be lovers of sin, lovers of money, lovers of pleasure, lovers of power, and those lies are going to lead you into sin, destruction, and misery." 7. "All those who submit to God's word and obey it will be persecuted. One of the primary reasons why so much of the church in America and worldwide is abandoning a high view of scripture and a commitment to trusting that God's word is not just a place where you can find the word of God, but every single word of it is the word of God, right? This is what we believe. They're lowering that view because pressure and persecution from our cultures. We will not ever bend on that, ever. Amen? God's word is the word of God. It's not up for negotiation here." [01:18:59] (50 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip)

8. "God's Word will make you wise for salvation through faith in Jesus. If you read the Word of God, you will know the way of salvation. Jesus said, I'm the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. In so many ways, the point of the truth is to lead you to what makes you wise for salvation. And that wisdom of salvation is understanding that the truth exposes our sin, and that we need a Savior, that we are guilty, and there's nothing we can do to fix it, right? Unless the Lord forgives us, there is no hope for us." [01:25:35] (31 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip)

9. "God's Word confronts and corrects and trains us for godly living. I told you without a standard, we can't grow. We're left in darkness, right? And so God's Word does all these things. And it's so good for us. Like, it sounds tough, but it's so good. It's profitable for teaching, reproof, correction, and training in righteousness. And the end result is this, this is awesome, that we're not stuck and lost, and wandering, right? It says in the end that we can be complete and equipped for every good work, that the man of God may be complete for every good work, equipped in that way." 10. "Are we reading it? Are we having an encounter with it routinely? Are we pursuing it? And then the second question is, after you hear what it says, are you obeying it? God warns us, don't just be a hearer of the Word, but be a doer of God's Word, right? So we need to be obedient to it. Maturity in Christ is not about information. It's about transformation. You don't have to be brilliant to be a follower of Jesus. His Spirit needs to work in you, but we need to know Him." [01:29:11] (26 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip)
