### Quotes for Outreach
1. "If you think COVID turned our world upside down, what would happen to us if tomorrow there was no gravity? If you stop to just think about it for a few seconds, you would realize that gravity exists. Everything as we know it is dependent upon that gravitational pull. It's an unseen reality that affects every part of our lives. Okay. And today, we are going to be talking about another unseen reality, and that's the spiritual reality, the spirit of God living in us."

2. "The miracle of transformation. That little caterpillar is going to tell you that it's going to become a butterfly. And when we see these great transformations, we're awed. We're absolutely awed. Whether it is a caterpillar, whether it is the ugly duckling that becomes a swan, whether it's a dilapidated building that somehow becomes a premier hotel, we're awed to see the transformation. And today, the good news is that the Holy Spirit wants to transform us. Transform us from one reality into another."

3. "God has great plans for us. But sometimes a lot of us go through life existing. Yes, we're alive. We wake up every day. We're breathing. But what happens? We get up. We go through our regular routines every day, whether it's going to work, whether it's going to school, whatever it is. We eat our meals. We watch our television shows. We scroll through. We go to social media. Whatever it is we do. And then we go to bed. The next day we start the whole thing over again. And we just go through the motions. There's no abundant life in us. But God is saying, I came. I came so that you could have abundant life."

4. "Imagine you being that wherever you go, that well of living water is just automatically flowing out of you. Even if you don't say a word, to bless the people around you. I'm not finished yet. One more. 2 Corinthians 4.8. This is now Paul speaking at another time, another letter that he wrote to another church. We are hard-pressed on every side, but we are not crushed. We are perplexed, but we are not in despair. We're persecuted, but we're not abandoned. We're stuck down, but not destroyed."

5. "If you choose to do that, life may not be rosy. You will experience challenges. You will experience great challenges, but God will be there with you, filling you with life, with peace, with joy, despite your circumstances. So we're going to end with that song. And when we sing that song, sing it as a prayer. And we're going to just end now with one example. I've got a book here. It's called Vanya. It's a relatively old book published in the 70s. And this is a beautiful example. Of how God comes down and supports someone who is in a difficult situation."

### Quotes for Members
1. "So this is good news. He says, you're over here. You should be condemned. But the good news is, you're over here. You're over here. You're over here. You're over here. That you, if you have taken on Jesus, and you have that connection, you are not living in this realm anymore. Because you see, we are body, we are mind, and we are a spirit. And now our spirits have open connection to Christ. So we have that connection to the Spirit, even though we're living in this world."

2. "But the life of God is in us because of righteousness. We have that connection. We are not going to be here alone. The Spirit of God, all love, all grace, all mercy is supporting us as we live in this world. That's good news. And let me tell you a little bit more about this in depth. We're going to look at other verses that give us this sense of what it means, what Paul is talking about here."

3. "We are hard-pressed on every side, but we are not crushed. We are perplexed, but we are not in despair. We're persecuted, but we're not abandoned. We're stuck down, but not destroyed. See? Paul is here. He's here in this world. And he's living and experiencing the effects of sin. But what is he saying? He's not crushed down. He's not in despair. He is not abandoned. When we are living in this world, connected to Jesus, allowing him to transform us and fill us, we will experience victory over our sinful desires. We will experience supernatural peace. And we will sense, we will experience deep, belonging, being loved, and we will soar over the storms."

4. "So Paul is giving us such good news about the ability of being transformed and what it means. And now he's giving us one more detail. So that if we're living here, not only will the Spirit transform us, but that Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead will also raise our mortal bodies. Think about it. Jesus was dead. Dead is dead is dead is dead. It's final. It's the end. There's no more. For those of you who've experienced the loss of loved ones, you will know that that anguish of not being able to see your loved ones ever again. It's so final. But Paul is telling them that Spirit is so strong. Spirit is so powerful that it raised a dead body and give you hope that your body will also be raised."

5. "We need to embrace the transformation, the power of the spirit that's working in us to continue living in this world. Okay, we can talk about that. But practical steps. What does it mean to embrace the transformation and the power of the spirit? Well, first of all, you may be here and completely closed off and you've never made so that would be your starting point. Turn to Jesus and make that connection and start living as a follower of Jesus. But maybe you've done that, but then you need to invest in that relationship. Maybe you're realizing that, you know what, I really haven't been feeding this relationship. I need to do more."
