Repentance is possible and repentance is real but we must keep calling people to repentance and we must number three be faithful with kingdom work as the world rejects the gospel be faithful with kingdom work as the world rejects the gospel in verse 23 through 24 and you capernaum will you be exalted to heaven no you will go down to hades for if the miracles that were done in you have been done in sodom it would have remained until today. Friends the rejection of the gospel is the ultimate sin and we must keep proclaiming Christ in these verses Jesus then use the example of capernaum the place that Jesus did most of his miracles there were people who were deathly sick who were who were healed beyond any imagination except for the power of healing of Jesus Christ there were demons who were let go there were there were there were people healed there were teaching done but yet capernaum's continued to remain unmoved to the message of Jesus Christ. This is a message not just to ancient cities but it's a message to our very own hearts we cannot reject God and say that we do not need him we cannot reject God and say that we don't need a salvation through Jesus Christ many assume that judgment comes only as through the notorious wicked but scripture teaches that the gospel rejection is the greatest offense of the universe. Brothers and sisters today we are lighthouse keepers shining the gospel of to the world that often rejects or sails by some will be co-workers family members may hear your testimony and shrug assuming they're fine without Jesus but don't dim the light keep it keep it burning because God can use this to guide some to safety and the day of judgment it will reveal that they will if to be costly if they ignore the beacon of hope. Friends faithfulness is not to the response of people faithfulness is your obedience and sharing the gospel so faithfulness and in faithfulness share Jesus till he comes again or he calls you home friends keep shining the gospel through your words in your life be reminded that even if people reject you it is not your decision it is not in your failure of a of attention or failure of preparation or that you can do something to change what God does in their heart you must be faithful even if they reject even if they don't respond even if they don't repent even if they play games keep sharing the good news of Jesus.
