i think this is hard work i think that this is disappointing work sometimes i moved to a completely different neighborhood you basically get like two suitcases um really having to get outside my comfort zone having to confront women there was just a lot more opportunity to um see each other sin if you're going to be a teacher you're going to be held at a higher accountability [00:00:00]

i remember reading that and taking that to heart i was like no i don't even got my own life in order so how you expect me to help other people right you're not gonna get a pat on the back is it enough just to see people coming to know him and seeing people set free [00:00:26]

you know i just felt like the lord was showing me like yeah you're called to make disciples now you're you're part of leadership you're you're leading somebody else like what you do this somebody else is watching learning to love people even when they're unlovely and letting people see me when i'm unlovely [00:00:42]

so you want to be family you want to be mindful of how best to love each other yeah i felt like i was just i was just as much in the program as these women were how can i sit here and help this person experience the love of christ the best that i know how of asking the holy spirit [00:01:01]

that's what changes their life when you see them get it when it hits when you hear them pray you hear the repentance and then you see yourself grow you see the breakthrough you see the repentance i'd never heard of something where you would have like such an opportunity to be this intentional to like build such deep relationship [00:01:20]

and if you can look at it as like a privilege like your perspective changes it was one of the hardest seasons but also one of the richest like seasons of my life and i'm thankful now that the lord like gave me the courage i'm so grateful that i didn't pass up something that would be hard but ultimately the most rewarding thing in my walk with jesus [00:01:45]

i've just seen miracles happen in people's lives you've had guys come out of this house become pastors elders in the church mentor in our home and it's really really amazing to watch [00:02:08]
