if you think about jesus and us being his children that's what he does like he gives us this example to follow like he focuses on himself to be that light to us so we have something tangible to look to and as parents i think that's a really good strategy to focus on is just focusing on ourselves [00:07:31]

if we're willing to confess our faults to our children to to acknowledge our wrongs and say hey look papa messed up there you know we're able to be honest with that and have the courage to bring it out to our children that is a good example so you don't have to be getting everything right as a parent [00:08:26]

blessed is the man that trusteth in the lord and whose hope the lord is for he shall be as a tree planted by the waters and that spreadeth out her roots by the river and shall not see she shall not see when heat cometh but her leaf shall be green and shall not be careful in the year of drought [00:09:46]

the righteous shall flour like the palm tree he shall grow like a cedar in lebanon those that be planted in the house of the lord shall flourish in the courts of our god they shall still bring forth fruit in old age they shall be fat and flourishing i just really like these devotionals [00:10:19]

his short period of suffering was was atonement for the sins of the whole world is that not the mercy of god how much how much suffering should my sins alone cost someone myself or someone but think about it the sins of the whole world every sin that has ever been committed [00:11:51]

for a short period of suffering the lord has has extended forgiveness to everyone that will will accept it um it's more than i can get my mind around it's it's uh it was a thought for the whole week and i expect it to be good for a couple more weeks of just considering [00:12:36]

there's a day coming when when the world shall drink of the of the wrath of god to the outermost but today we live in the age of grace where for for the suffering of jesus christ our sins can be forgiven we can repent we can come to him um he says uh come you know let's make a deal here [00:14:05]
