Today, we reflected on the heart of our faith: the resurrection of Jesus Christ. We began by acknowledging the importance of not compromising the gospel, no matter the challenges or the opinions of others. Just as Apostle Paul was compelled to declare the gospel he received, we too are called to boldly share the good news, even when it’s not popular or easy. Paul’s letter to the Corinthians reminds us that the resurrection is not just a doctrine, but the very foundation of our hope and salvation. Without it, our faith would be empty, our preaching pointless, and our lives without true purpose.
Paul faced a church in Corinth that struggled with doubts about the resurrection. Some were influenced by Greek philosophies that saw the body as a prison, making the idea of a bodily resurrection seem foolish. Others, like the Sadducees, simply denied resurrection altogether. Paul confronted these misunderstandings head-on, emphasizing that the resurrection is not just a spiritual metaphor but a real, historical event witnessed by many—including himself. He reminded the church that if Christ has not been raised, then we are still lost in our sins, and those who have died in Christ have perished without hope.
But Christ has indeed been raised, becoming the firstfruits of those who have died. Through Adam came death, but through Christ comes life. This is our blessed hope: that death is not the end, and that one day, all things will be put under Christ’s authority. This hope should shape how we live every day—not as people who are just passing time, but as those who are preparing to see Jesus face to face. We are called to live authentically, not faking our walk with God, but letting the reality of the resurrection transform us from the inside out.
Let us not be swayed by new teachings or so-called “progressive gospels” that deny the power of Christ’s resurrection. Instead, let’s hold fast to the truth that has been handed down to us, living lives that reflect the hope and power of the risen Savior. The evidence of Christ’s resurrection is not just in history books, but in the changed lives of those who have received the Holy Spirit. Let’s continue to share this hope, knowing that because He lives, we too shall live.

1 Corinthians 15:1–23 (ESV) —
> 1 Now I would remind you, brothers, of the gospel I preached to you, which you received, in which you stand,
> 2 and by which you are being saved, if you hold fast to the word I preached to you—unless you believed in vain.
> 3 For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures,
> 4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures,
> 5 and that he appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve.
> 6 Then he appeared to more than five hundred brothers at one time, most of whom are still alive, though some have fallen asleep.
> 7 Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles.
> 8 Last of all, as to one untimely born, he appeared also to me.
> 9 For I am the least of the apostles, unworthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.
> 10 But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace toward me was not in vain. On the contrary, I worked harder than any of them, though it was not I, but the grace of God that is with me.
> 11 Whether then it was I or they, so we preach and so you believed.
> 12 Now if Christ is proclaimed as raised from the dead, how can some of you say that there is no resurrection of the dead?
> 13 But if there is no resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ has been raised.
> 14 And if Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is in vain and your faith is in vain.
> 15 We are even found to be misrepresenting God, because we testified about God that he raised Christ, whom he did not raise if it is true that the dead are not raised.
> 16 For if the dead are not raised, not even Christ has been raised.
> 17 And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile and you are still in your sins.
> 18 Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished.
> 19 If in Christ we have hope in this life only, we are of all people most to be pitied.
> 20 But in fact Christ has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.
> 21 For as by a man came death, by a man has come also the resurrection of the dead.
> 22 For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive.
> 23 But each in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, then at his coming those who belong to Christ.
We got to share the word of God with people no let the world know no let the world see themsself out of darkness into this marvelous light so like I said you know we're going to talk about Apostle Paul today you know how that he have to talk to the people about the resurrection of Jesus Christ know sometime you would think that someone understand the first time but every once in a while somebody need to be taught again cuz I could they'll get too comfortable. [00:02:54]
We got to understand that the basis of the Christian teaching is the death the burial and the resurrection of Jesus Christ. I listen to a debate a while back about this aist he was debating this Christian you know it was an interesting debate then the um then the narrator asked the Christian a question concerning Jesus resurrection. [00:05:08]
You claim to be a Christian or a Christ follower but yet you say Jesus had not rose from the dead matter of fact you say that he are he is s in the ground i said that it it it really puzzle me i said "Wow that actually Christian that actually believe that." But he got understand Christian for some odd reason christian got so many different meaning in behind that some Christian don't believe in the vendor of Jesus Christ which I don't understand how they Christian but it's neither here or there so so um Paul Paul says "I preach unto you unless ye have believed in vain for I deliver unto you." [00:06:02]
The gospel you got to understand the gospel of Matthew Mark Luke and John are consistent about Jesus death burial and resurrection they are very consistent i could tell you I could tell you about that you know yes you know you got on the other parts you know one tell this story but the other don't tell the story or song so quick with it and some is just very longwinning but what they all got in common that Jesus died and not just he died he he he buried and not just he buried he resurrection. [00:08:12]
So so Peter and the other apostles witnessed the resurrection of Jesus Christ and we got to understand that Jesus stayed for another 40 days to teach and and not only that on the s and that he was seen of 5,000 brethrens at once of whom the greater part remain until this present but some are falling asleep okay not 5,000 500 russian 5,000 Jesus oh my god is that many people no 500 brother so I believe know most of this stuff are tradition that Paul just kept on to teaching but there also was a lot of people witnessing Jesus ascending up to heaven and Acts chapter 1 11 say say that as as they were glazing up in heaven as Jesus was ascended the angel said why you glazing here the same way that you seen him leave that's the same way he going to come back I believe that why many people think he would be being in the mount autumn. [00:10:12]
So Paul is given evidence that Jesus had eyes witness many people like okay where is your eyes witness it's in the scripture it's in the scripture there are eyewitness of Jesus rose from dead this is not a made of I mean people make a scene like that the apostles basically suicidal what I mean by suicide Adona what I mean is okay that make up something okay that make up something about Jesus rose from the dead okay okay that sound good all right he he he he rose from that that preach and that tell the people about the good news and they say okay what is the benefit because you got to think about the apostle do not have benefits about they don't have have benefits i mean what benefit them to make up stories like this. [00:12:29]
The benefit is we going to die like that oh yeah we going to die no no it it not like that these are actually eyewitness the apostles and the other brethren who watch Jesus ascended and on the 8 verse and last of all he has seen of me also as a one that born out of due season who me we got to understand who who who is the writer of this book the writer of the book is Apostle Paul paul said "Yes he has seen me." [00:13:34]
So now apostle and and wo under erdoninism we we understand that the ninism or durable thinking which author rejected the material body other anosinism don't believe that the the material body is important other lot of them would say that Jesus cannot be born just cannot be in a a human body i mean Jesus had to be spiritual that that's their view about about um the resurrection that say um um maybe it had been developed and influenced Christian thoughts that the pro that thing about with us Christian we got to be careful what we what information we take in a lot everybody who who got Christian in their name may not teach the right thing eject um reject the idea of body resurrection in favor of um purity spiritual existence. [00:28:09]
If Christ had not been risen me doing the podcast would be in vain bishop Kimbro preaching in the pull pit um Sundays or do Bible stud on th Tuesday and Thursday that would be in vain elder Archin she preaching tomorrow that mean she preaching it would be in vain and also your faith also be in vain yay and we are finding false witness of God other word not only it be in vain but we be false witness other we spreading lies and say that that Christ had been risen we we would be a liar what what I say if Christ had not been risen but we had testified of God that he raised up Christ whom I mean he raised not up if so be that the dead had not risen had not had raised not all right where it say that if Christ had not been raised up then then the dead would not be raised up for if the dead rise not then is it not Christ raised apostle Paul I like his his type of teaching he having you what my wife would say that most time I teach my teaching is thoughtprovoking so other Paul having Paul teaching them on on he teaching them but he also let them think if this stuff were false then Christ had not been risen and if Christ has not been risen your faith is vain ye are yet in your sin we claim that God save us from our sin but yet if Christ had not been risen we yet still in sin then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ or perish many many people had hoped that um Jesus would come back and raise up the the bodies of what those who did you can you can um read more about that in 1 Thessalonian chapter 4 about the dead of Christ should rise first and those who alive remain shall be caught up in the air and so so that therefore if Christ had not been dead that mean the people who asleep in Christ would perish you. [00:29:57]
You got to think about resurrection is our hope that's the that's the point of the resurrection is hope and if there is no hope then we just could just be a a body what what son a would say son a would say man hey I mean I'm going to be I'm going back to the dirt other words in that man I don't have any hope but when Christ rose from the dead that gave us hope that we we will live again. [00:32:48]
We will see God face again and we will be coming to this earth and that what we what we believe and if that not the case then our teacher our belief our faith is worthless if that is the case but luckily most of us know that not the case we believe in the resurrection of Jesus Christ we we believe in his second coming which in in the age doctrine we believe in the second coming of Jesus Christ on 21 verse but now if but now is Christ raised from the dead and become what the first fruit of them that slept. [00:34:23]
But the thing is we got to be right we there not a time to be a fake Christian it's a time to live the right way it not time to fake this walk it time to live about this walk we we we can't we we we can't we cannot fake this lifestyle you have to be true to this lifestyle amen and the last enemy that shall be destroyed is who death death tried to hold Jesus down but death could not. [00:37:40]
We have hope that we going to see that loved one again we know that old oh old grandma I miss we going to see them that that spouse that that pass you you going to see them again you you you was you would be so happy to see the people face again so so Jesus come to destroy death for he had put all things under his feet but when he when he said all these are un under his feet is it manifest that he is. [00:38:44]
So Paul said "Why would I put my life at risk if the gospel if the resurrection is not important?" All right paul said "Look not just eat and drink over just live life so we going to die anyway tomorrow so not not just be free." Unfortunately that how some people live their life they they live life like there is no God and they live life that they don't have a destination to go to so Paul said not eat and drink over not just enjoy family not let's go out and eat for tomorrow we going to die anyway over not just live our regular life see be not deceived evil communication corrupt good matter. [00:42:53]
When you are married to Christ you you take on his name a name means something when my wife and I got married she took on my name so she took on my name that that mean whatever she do it it may affect me and that vice versa we we name the name of Christ we we must be we must be serious about the name of the name of Christ and live the life like we believe in Christ so so Apostle Paul let know look there is a certain thing of the resurrection there is a such thing. [00:45:59]
The death the burial and the resurrection of Jesus Christ and not only that but the second coming of of Jesus Christ and we looking forward for that so therefore we must live every day like tomorrow gonna be the last day what what I mean there no time to try try try um new sin i'll put it that way some some people want to try certain certain things you know what Christ ain't g he ain't gonna come today what if Christ come and you in your mess it don't matter how much good work you did did for Christ it don't matter how how many homeless people you fed it it don't matter how how how many time you save someone from debt don't let don't don't don't don't don't fall into your sin in Revelation I revelation chapter 22 say basically where the tree uh fall that way other words you can do all the good work but don't don't commit don't commit a sin and and when you die you can't repent yeah so so that therefore let let us continue on sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ and let the people know why are we here because why Christ is a I can tell you one more evidence how you know that Christ risen he live in you he live in me what do you mean the Holy Spirit the Holy Ghost is in you so so therefore that is the evidence that Christ arisen other than that some of us will continue cursing fornicate or do whatever you do i know for sure that Christ live in me because the thing that I used to do I don't even do it no more. [00:46:54]
Let's live our life let preach like Jesus live in us don't don't don't let don't let this stuff this new gospel what they call the progressive gospel fool fool you we got so much new gospels around here ain't funny look there ain't no 13 as new gospel paul Paul said "If that preach anything other than what I have preached to you let it be a curse." There no such thing as new gospel to be preached out there the gospel still the same and it's the same gospel that kept us all through the years yeah you know many of us got away from the teaching for a while but some of us came back while God gave us mercy to come back so so that therefore I want to thank y'all for listen to the podcast you know. [00:48:17]
So what you got out of the podcast you know ju just just write it write a comment you know if you need prayer you know you put in a comment or you just um message me the the real unveil um podcast page you know if you had any s in what what you call comments you know just let me know good thing about it is I'm not so big that I can't can't accept comments i'm not so big that I can't accept criticism or or whatever you want want to do and you want to give you know you could give but you might have to measure me for the for the cash out whatever the case may be well like I said I I thank God for his word you know especially by his res by his resurrection no I'm glad he rose how many you glad that he rose today i glad that he rose from the grave i thank God for his blessing hope so I see you all later no I say you need prayer now i could pray with you my wife can pray with you i can get some elders i see oh Mama Rook's on here praise God i I see Mama Rrooks you know yeah I pray you know um my wife you know my wife she a prayer warrior you know she you know we we we got people and like I said my god sister you know she she'll pray so so that that I thank everyone for the word so we're going to end end the podcast we'll pray.
