Day 4: Beyond Public Validation
By living quietly and seeking God earnestly, we open ourselves up to experiencing His presence in a profound way. These experiences are not to be shared or broadcasted but are treasures that God entrusts to us alone, reminding us of the personal nature of our relationship with Him. In these quiet moments, God may thunder messages that are uniquely tailored for us, messages that He has not shared with anyone else. [00:37]
"Thus says the LORD: 'Let not the wise man boast in his wisdom, let not the mighty man boast in his might, let not the rich man boast in his riches, but let him who boasts boast in this, that he understands and knows me, that I am the LORD who practices steadfast love, justice, and righteousness in the earth. For in these things I delight, declares the LORD.'" (Jeremiah 9:23-24, ESV)
Reflection: Reflect on a time when you sought validation from others rather than from God. How can you shift your focus to seek His approval above all else?
