"Jesus said in John 8:12 I am the light of the world and he who follows me will not walk in darkness but will have the light of life and when I think about that verse I often think about Jesus being a candle and me simply coming near him you know how you can light another candle by holding a candle to it Jesus is the light of the world and if you bring your candle to him he you will have the light of life." [00:22:40]

"The key to the Christian life is very simply this is to come to have a love for Jesus under the Old Testament it was a commandment you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart soul mind and strength under the New Covenant I think of it like this you get to love the Lord your God because it's the most enjoyable thing." [00:48:24]

"The Holy Spirit will make Jesus so wonderful in your eyes that you'll just want to love him he is the best teacher at loving Jesus and if the dear friends please listen this is a key this is really a secret I hope it will unlock the Christian life for you if it has been locked up I hope it'll unlock the New Covenant for you if it has been locked up like it was for me for many years." [06:13:59]

"Jesus is my shepherd I shall not want I don't have any needs he's meeting them yes I have needs but he meets them he provides each day I mean didn't you get enough to eat as much as you needed maybe not as much as you wanted but as much as you needed for everything he makes me lie down in Green Pastures." [21:00:32]

"Even though I'm walking through the valley of the shadow of death I fear no evil I have no fear oh how Christians live with fear what's going to happen oh it's going to this thing has happened it's probably going to get worse the characteristic that the shepherd is in your life and in your presence is that there's no fear." [23:29:11]

"Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me if you're looking for Comfort dear brother dear sister dear children in a world that's full of trouble in this world you will have tribulation Jesus said if you're in this world if you're living in this world you're guaranteed to have tribulation troubles like we say in our home trials and tribulations we know they're coming." [27:20:32]

"When your enemies taunt you God makes it personal God takes it personally when the devil accuses you he says you're accusing Santos you're accusing me that's how God looks at it you know why that's important for me and why I wrote that there the Holy Spirit opened it up for me as it were I always thought that when I fell or if I fell and when I fell my enemies taunted me because I fell." [29:39:59]

"If you are content to live your life in secret before God he will bring fruit out of it don't live for the Applause of the masses and your reputation in front of people and what look for a public Ministry a lot of people thinking oh I want a Ministry I want to preach or I want to do this I want to do that I want to be a missionary I want to do all these outward things." [46:31:59]

"God disciplines you out of his deep love for you thy rod and thy staff they comfort me and if the Holy Spirit can show you the shepherd disciplining his sheep a father disciplining his children out of love Proverbs Chapter 13 that's the verse I was quoting earlier Proverbs Chapter 13 in the literal translation of this word in my margin it shows that Proverbs 13 verse 24 he who withholds his Rod hates his son." [49:56:44]

"How happy how joyful is the man whom God reproves so do not despise the discipline of the almighty if you wonder why your life is not as joyful maybe you've been running away from the discipline of the lord it's here in God's word just plainly written how happy is the man whom God reproves it takes the Holy Spirit I can't convince you I can't somehow be like hey man just just believe it no don't pretend." [54:25:64]

"God will carry you and defend you until the end God will carry you and defend you until the end looks like we lost these lights okay um let's turn to Isaiah chapter 40 I was saying how Isaiah is a a chapter where a book where there's this split as it were and we were reading the story in chapter 37 and the story finishes in chapter 39 and all of a sudden in chapter 40 the the the mood switches as it were there's been the discipline and the rebuke and the correction and now he says chapter 40:1 Comfort oh Comfort my people says your God." [59:59:92]

"Do not rejoice Over Me Oh My Enemy though I fall I will rise though I dwell in darkness the Lord is a light for me if you've been dwelling in darkness the Lord is a light for me I will bear the indignation of the Lord I will allow him to discipline me because I have sinned against him yes I know I Sinn against him and he will punish me but what will happen after that he will plead my case and execute Justice for me he will bring me out to the light and I will see his righteousness."
