2. "Holy Spirit gives our lives as believers purpose and power because we get his invisible, tangible, personal presence with us. And don't be mistaken. Holy Spirit is not just a substance. You know, we've referred to like the juice and he's referred to in scripture as fire and wind and breath and oil. He's not just a substance though. Holy Spirit is a person. He's a person. He's part of the Trinity. God is three in one, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit. I won't be able to explain that to you, Pastor Arch. You can do that in a few weeks. I don't know. He's three in one. He's a person. He's not any less." [00:02:10] (46 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip)

3. "The fruit of the Spirit, I believe, is what the world, including you and I, are desperately seeking in our lives. We're looking for love. We're looking for joy. We're looking for peace. We're looking for kindness and goodness. We're looking and searching for faithfulness and gentleness. We're desperately seeking self-control. And I believe oftentimes the world and even ourselves can look for these in all the wrong places. And the reason that we want to highlight and talk about the fruit of the Spirit is because we need to understand that these are not things that we go out and we attain or we strive for." 4. "Fruit is growing in your life. Fruit is growing in my life. And the fruit of our life is evidence of whether or not we are being led by the spirit or led by the flesh. Where's the fruit? I believe people are hungrier than ever for more of God. I really do. And I believe that people are hungrier than ever for more of God. And I believe that people are hungrier are desperately searching for the fruit that will satisfy and sometimes because of our own lives it can look like people are rejecting God but I think oftentimes people aren't rejecting God they're rejecting us because the fruit of our lives doesn't look very different and so we've got to allow God to go to work on the inside of us from the inside out because we can't make a difference which is part of our vision here at Life .Church to know God find freedom discover purpose so we can make a difference we can't make a difference y 'all if we aren't different and as believers our lives this is not about perfection but our lives should be different there should" [00:09:55] (74 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip)

5. "It's the fruit of the Spirit and it's the juice, His Holy Spirit, that produces the fruit in our lives. It's not the fruit of our gifts. It's not the fruit of our disciplines. It's not the fruit of our talent. It's not the fruit of our education. It's not the fruit of our personality. It's not the fruit of our experience. It's the fruit of the Spirit and it's His responsibility to produce the fruit through us. He works in us and He produces what's pleasing to Him." 6. "We cannot be and do any of these things that God has asked us to be and do if we're not connected to His power and to the source and the Holy Spirit in our lives. The fruit is in the juice. The juice produces the fruit of the Spirit in our life. Do you know that you were created to be fruitful? Do you know that your life, you were chosen by God to be fruitful? John 15, 16, Jesus says, You didn't choose me. I chose you and I appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit, fruit that will last. You didn't choose me. He chose us. He called us by name and He wants us to bear fruit. We were created and chosen to be fruitful. In our lives." [00:15:16] (55 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip)

7. "And I believe that Holy Spirit power is wanting to do like that juice cleanse and get the stuff out of us that doesn't need to be in us so that he can get the things in us that need to be in us and produce the fruit of his spirit in all of our lives. We can't learn fruit. Fruit is the byproduct of who we are. It's the evidence of what's going on inside of us. And this can be a hard truth for us to face." 8. "And as we consume his love, and as we consume his peace, and as we are filled with his joy, as we are consumed by who he is, then that begins to flow out of us. But we can't allow the fruit to flow out of us if we're not allowing the fruit to get in us. And that's what his spirit, his power, and his presence in our life wants to do. He wants to produce this in us." [00:22:17] (29 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip)

9. "And the gospel and the fruit of the spirit is not some learned behavior. It's a response and a choice, like Pastor Archie said this morning, to receive him. To receive his love and everything that he has to offer. He's our father in heaven who's given us Holy Spirit. That wants to receive him. That wants to fill us. That wants us to be filled up with him. That wants to produce these things in our lives. And I wonder if we're allowing him full access to be able to do that." 10. "We can eat the fruit of love, we can eat the fruit of joy, we can eat the fruit of his peace and his kindness and his gentleness, but it all starts with love. So I went old school and I took the acronym of EAT to remind us of the simple truth of embracing, accepting, and trusting the love of our Father. If we are going to love and allow the fruit of love to be produced in our life, we are going to love and allow the fruit of love we must first embrace the truth, embrace the depth of God's love toward us."
