Embracing the Belt of Truth for Spiritual Victory

1. "And you know what's so important about it is because it's the truth. And the truth is what sets us free. Amen. We've been talking about the armor of God. It says put on the belt of truth. Put on the Logos of God. Put on the Word of God. And so, the fiery darts will not prevail. Now, it says put on the full armor of God. But where we find the full armor of God is through the what? The Word. Through the Bible. Right? The Logos, the written Word. And so, what the Gideons do, it is a firm foundation. 2. "Now, when I talk about that, I want you all to think about it this way. And I have this. I've been saying it and saying it and saying it, but it just gets me excited when I take out the full armor of God and I'm going to put on the truth of what? God. I'm going to put on the faith of what? God. I'm going to put on the salvation of. I'm going to put on the righteousness of. I'm going to put on the peace of. I'm going to put on the prayer of. Okay, so it's not faith in me. It's not faith in my might. It's not faith in my ability. It's not the truth that I know. It's not the truth that, oh, be your own truth. No, it is the truth of what? God. It is the salvation of what? God. It's the righteousness of God. It is the peace of God. It is the spoken word, the spirit of God, right? It's the prayer of God. 3. "The belt of truth is not just a belt as you see me wearing. It's a belt that has a clip on this side, and that clip would literally shield the faith. The shield would hang on it, and it would support it. At the same time, you got the sword of the Spirit. You didn't carry the sword all the time. It had a loop that the sword, what? Hung on. It goes on it. Your righteousness, it had clips on the front, and it had clips on the back. And your breastplate of righteousness would clip onto the what? Truth. It would what? Secure it. So your righteousness is secured through the what? Through the word of God. Prayer. Prayer. The lance of prayer. There's always a loop in the back of the belt, and that lance would always go in that lance. It would go in that loop. What does that mean? That means your prayer is attached to what? The word. 4. "The light is full of power. The belt of truth is full of power. The belt of truth that energizes. That belt of truth, you know what? It confirms. It confirms the word. It confirms to me that I'm on the right path. I got the compass out. All right, I'm on the right path. Oh, I got my light out. I know where I'm at. Oh, I got my telescope out. Oh, I can see I'm on. I got vision. My vision comes from the spoken word of God, but the logos confirms it. The truth confirms it. I had a vision of marrying a woman that had a relationship with her parents. I had a vision of a woman that loved God. I had a vision of a woman that spoke in tongues, believed in prayer, walked in faith, and would think I was the best thing since sliced bread. That was my vision. That was my vision. And that vision was confirmed by the truth of the word of God. How did that be confirmed in the truth of the word of God? Do not be unequally yoked. You find it all through the truth. So it confirms it. It's a GPS, global positioning system or guidance, whatever you want to say. It doesn't matter. 5. "The belt of truth, it will have miraculous signs. It will be an interpreter for you. I use Google Translate when I go to certain places. I don't got to pull out Google Translate. I just got to put on the belt of truth, and it's going to interpret things for me. Really? Oh, yeah. It's an interpreter. The belt of truth, it has healing virtues that happen. The belt of truth has x-ray vision. You say, you need to go to kids' church. No, I'm going to kids' church next week. I'm here right now. You say, oh, this is for the kids. No, it says put on the full armor of God, believers. And you should have x-ray vision. You should be able to see past the what? The flesh. Because the Bible says, I don't battle against flesh and blood, but rules and principalities of the air. So that allows me to have what? X-ray vision. I know what spirit is of. That's the spirit of love. That's the spirit of discourse. That's the spirit of confusion. That's the spirit of pride. Oh, that's the spirit of God. That's the spirit of prophecy. 6. "The saying is trustworthy, and I want you to insist on these. The saying is so that you may, that you have believed in God, may be careful to devote themselves to good works. These things are excellent and profitable for people. Everything that you do, it's for the works of God, and it's all for good works. We learned that yesterday. When it says good works, it's Jesus works. Jesus works. Everything that's good is from God. It's from, you say, well, not everything. Oh, no. 7. "The loin belts, the loin belt allows all the other pieces of the armor to work. It allows the faith to work because it's through the word that the faith is built up. It's through Hebrews. The word will furnish us. with righteousness. You talk about your breastplate, that breastplate, it comes through the word. It furnishes, the Bible says it furnishes you with righteousness. The word stand in peace, when you walk and stand in peace, when you walk and stand of God, the peace of God, that all happens through the truth. The peace of God, it says the peace of God rules in your heart. The peace of God rules in your heart. The locus of God rules in your heart. The peace of God rules in your heart. You only get that through the truth. truth. You don't have the truth. It ain't going to give it there. You stand strong. You stand in faith. How? Well, the Bible says there, faith come by hearing and hearing by the word of God. Well, you say that word of God is Ramos. Yes, but the Ramos is always confirmed through the Logos. Always confirmed. Always confirmed. And how many times when I'm reading the Logos, I hear the Rhema. How many of that happened to y 'all? Go ahead. Raise your hand if that's happened to y 'all. When you're reading the Bible, you hear a word from God. Raise your hand and keep it up real quick. I mean, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow. All of you. It's not really wowing.
