Embracing Revival: Faith, Transformation, and God's Power
Devotional
Day 1: Revival is a Present Reality
Revival is not just a historical event but a present possibility. The Azusa Street Revival serves as a powerful reminder that God's miraculous power is not confined to the past. The same God who moved mightily in history is ready to do so again in our generation. This revival is not about technological advancements but about a profound spiritual awakening that can transform lives and communities. Believing in the possibility of revival today means opening our hearts to the miraculous and expecting God to move in unprecedented ways. [06:39]
Acts 2:17-18 (ESV): "‘And in the last days it shall be, God declares, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams; even on my male servants and female servants in those days I will pour out my Spirit, and they shall prophesy."
Reflection: What steps can you take today to open your heart to the possibility of revival in your life and community?
Day 2: Faith Triumphs Over Doubt
In a world filled with skepticism and doubt, holding onto faith is crucial. Despite the darkness that may surround us, the light of God's grace shines even brighter. Believing that God is still capable of performing miracles today requires a steadfast faith that transcends doubt. This faith is not blind but rooted in the hope of a great revival that will draw people to Christ. As the world becomes darker, our faith must become stronger, trusting that God's miraculous power is still at work. [09:19]
Hebrews 11:1 (ESV): "Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen."
Reflection: In what areas of your life are you struggling with doubt? How can you actively choose faith over skepticism today?
Day 3: Cultivating an Atmosphere for God's Presence
Creating an atmosphere where God's presence can manifest powerfully involves intentional worship and prayer. This is not a passive act but a dynamic engagement with God, where we become vessels through which His power can flow. By dedicating time to worship and prayer, we prepare our hearts and communities for revival. This preparation is essential for experiencing the fullness of God's presence and the transformative power it brings. [24:50]
2 Chronicles 7:14 (ESV): "If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land."
Reflection: How can you create a personal atmosphere of worship and prayer in your daily routine to invite God's presence into your life?
Day 4: Embracing Personal Transformation and Forgiveness
Personal transformation and dedication to God are vital for experiencing revival. Letting go of bitterness and past hurts, and embracing forgiveness, allows us to focus on the mission of reaching the lost. This transformation is not just about personal growth but about becoming a conduit for God's love and grace to others. By forgiving and letting go, we align ourselves with God's purpose and open the door for His power to work through us. [42:05]
Ephesians 4:31-32 (ESV): "Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you."
Reflection: Who in your life do you need to forgive today? How can you take a step towards releasing bitterness and embracing God's transformative power?
Day 5: Living in Expectation of God's Power
The power of the Holy Spirit is available to us, and living in expectation of God's power means allowing His glory to be evident in our lives. This involves a commitment to being vessels through which God's power can flow, impacting the world around us. By living in expectation, we create the conditions for God's presence to invade our lives and our world, just as He has done in the past. [49:33]
Ephesians 3:20-21 (ESV): "Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen."
Reflection: What does living in expectation of God's power look like for you? How can you actively create conditions for His presence to manifest in your life today?

I do believe that we can have contact with God on a daily basis, you believe that? I do believe we can at 3:12 Azusa Street in Los Angeles, California was God's earthly address. One writer put from April 1906 until November 1909, the glory of God inhabited that warehouse and stable releasing creative miracles of healing 24 hours a day, seven days a week. [00:04:39]
If I did not and could not believe in a mighty revival coming to our generation, I would quit now. I would go find me a pastor to send under and I would just stop preaching the Word of God because the hope that drives me to the prayer room and the hope that drives me to church and the hope that drives me to believe that my family's going to be saved is that there is coming a revival that will blow the mind of humanity. [00:08:02]
The darker the night, the brighter the light or the grace of God decibels more about. Thank God that there is a day coming and it is now. We are stopping in a God. God is sitting there waiting to pour out a revival. The only thing that stands between us and God for revival is you and I today. I believe that. I believe with all of my heart. [00:09:30]
I want to encourage you if you got family that's lost, please don't give up. They're not bad people, but look around like you're somebody and they're nothing because they might not live like you do now. They just need the grace of God. They just need salvation. They just need help. If we ain't careful, we are standing between revival and God's gonna win them before it's too late. [00:11:36]
We need an invasion today. It's not a home invasion where someone's out to do rough and mean and brutal and kill, but we need a home invasion where God walks in and everything in our home is anointed, everything in our yard is anointed, that when people drive by our house, not because we just dress white, that's not the only thing, but through the love of Christ that oozes out of us, they say I feel something around them. [00:14:58]
We have the greatest opportunity to produce the greatest revival. We remain none of us rich, none of us just broke today. We have great resources. We've got social media. We've got everything by the drop of a bucket or by the tap of a finger. We can reach thousands of people. The only thing that's missing, it's not the great opportunities, is all around us. There's opportunities ever. It is the people. It's you and I that's what missing. [00:18:56]
We need to pray every time we come to church until you pray through to the baptism of the Holy Ghost. You should never leave until you've spoken other tongues as a spirit gives you a trance. We should never walk out the glass doors unless Heaven has invaded our earthly body. We should never leave the presence of God until we've stuck our arms to our elbows in the power of God's presence. [00:20:19]
We are living epistles that's even read of all men and we are the most by the only Bible some folks gonna leave. But I'm gonna tell you we can create an atmosphere in this place every time we come to church. So this year I've tried to make some changes. I didn't get to present it in leadership. I'll present more of it next Sunday. [00:28:20]
I do believe that there is a place we can get with God that when they either they ride the bus or a family member walks in it has nothing to do with us but all to do with God that the presence of God can be so rich in this service that God's Spirit will draw the oume and through signs, wonders, and miracles a revival will start. [00:30:02]
It's gonna take dynamic prayer. It's gonna take dynamic worship. It's gonna take that any praise. It's gonna take dynamic everything to produce the Chicano glory. The only way God Falls is where he is worshiped and praised. There's no way I'm gonna preach this the way I feel this morning in my heart. [00:30:29]
We need to reach the backslider. We're running out of time. Let's get off the high horse. Let's put the bitterness to the side. If you got any two rafts against somebody because of church hurt, you better bury it in the altar. We can't let that stop us from winning our loved ones. I don't care how many time they've mistreated you. [00:42:05]
But in the meantime, you and I have the greatest opportunity to create a cloud that you can't glory. We should never leave this service unless heaven has invaded our atmosphere. You should never leave unless Heaven has invaded our atmosphere. [00:48:33]
