Preaching wasn't designed to make you feel good. Preaching was designed to save you from your sins. If preachers just made us feel good, I would not be saved today, but I had a preacher that could preach truth to me and make me uncomfortable enough to repent of my sins. Preaching's not designed to make me enjoy sin. It's designed to make me convicted of sin so that I can get closer to a holy God. You cannot get closer to a holy God living with unholiness in your life. You've got to be holy like He's holy because He dwells in a holy place. [00:57:11] (39 seconds)  #ConvictedToHoliness

You can't be one person at church and be another person at home. You can't be one person at home and another person at work. You've got to be real. You've got to be who you are. And the only way we can actually be real is that we wash our heart of the unforgiveness and the bitterness and the lying that we've been doing to ourselves and others trying to put on some kind of face. [00:58:39] (24 seconds)  #BeRealBeWhole

It was only by the grace of God that I can stand before you today because if it had not been for the mercy of Jesus, I would probably be dead today. Somebody say amen. I remember, if it had not been for my mother's prayers, I probably would...be dead today. I had a praying mama and a praying daddy. I thank God. Amen. And you know what you got? You got a praying church. You got a praying church mother that's praying that God would save you. [00:59:04] (27 seconds)  #PowerOfPrayingParents

The altar is not a place of regret. The altar is a place of renewal. I don't come to the altar hanging my head thinking I'm lousy. I come to the altar thinking, God, I'm about to walk away with a fresh touch from you. I'm going to leave this altar. I'm going to put that sacrifice of my will on the altar and I'm going to lay it down because when I walk away from that altar, I'm heading into the Holy of Holies. [01:04:01] (25 seconds)  #AltarOfRenewal

Until you learn how to embrace repentance, you're going to live with the pain of your past haunting you forever. But when you start letting things go and you start releasing and forgiving things that have been done to you, that's when you experience the freedom of salvation. [01:07:36] (17 seconds)  #FreedomThroughRepentance

There are things you've been holding on to in your life that you've been thinking the longer I hold on to it the more they'll have to pay but you're the one suffering and my aunt suffered for years but the moment she released those things that had happened God physically healed her of her nervous breakdown and she was healed I'm telling you there's healing in this room today through the power of repentance because when you begin to repent you roll out the way for Jesus to roll into your life. [01:12:35] (31 seconds)  #HealingInLettingGo

You feel heaviness now, but you're going to praise God out of this situation. You feel worried now, but God is going to give you the oil of joy. Amen. For your mourning. You're feeling the weight of heaviness, but God is going to give you a rejoicing in your spirit. He said, I make all things new. [01:22:49] (23 seconds)  #JoyAfterHeaviness

You can't earn my love and my forgiveness. But you do have to ask for it. You know why we have to ask for it? Because we have to humble ourselves. I'll never humble myself and ask for it if I feel like I've got everything I need. But when I know I need him more than I need life itself, I wonder if there's anybody here that feels like there are some things that I want Jesus to cover. [01:26:29] (24 seconds)  #HumbleToReceive

A righteous man, a just man, a good man. He's going to fall seven times. But he's going to get back up. And if God doesn't expect us to stay down, God's not going to reject us when we fall and try to get back up again. I don't care how many times you've messed up today. [01:27:18] (17 seconds)  #RiseAfterFalling

You may feel like you've been overlooked by society. But Jesus says, I know who you are. And I'm here to minister to your need. And I'm ready to meet your need. It doesn't matter what it is. And he said, have you not known? Have you not heard? Amen. The everlasting God, the Lord, creator of the ends of the earth, neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the weak. And to those who have no might, he increases strength. [01:28:30] (28 seconds)  #KnownAndStrengthened
