1. "If you came this morning and you consider yourself an atheist, if you come this morning and consider yourself an agnostic, if you came thinking that you're an unbeliever, if you just don't even like church or Christians, but somehow you found yourself here this morning, if you came hurt, broken, sad, mad, whatever it is, you are welcome. This church was with people like you in mind." [54:38] (21 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip)

2. "In its simplest, purest form, prayer is simply talking to God. It's talking to God. Christianity is a relationship that can be had with God the Father through Jesus Christ. And prayer is the means in which we communicate with Him. In other words, prayer is not something that we do so much as it's someone that we speak to. And communication, as I've already said, is crucial to any relationship." [59:22] (31 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip)

3. "Prayer is not something that we do so much as it's someone that we speak to. And communication, should be our first response, not our last resort. And if you want to destroy a relationship, then you've got to destroy the communication. It's real simple. If you want to destroy a relationship, just destroy the communication. And so today's message for me is just designed to serve as a reminder, the importance of prayer and why we should do it." [59:22] (23 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip)

4. "Prayer is important because it acknowledges there is a God. When we pray, we are acknowledging that there is someone more ultimate than you. Shock, horror, that there is someone more ultimate than us. That's what prayer does. It emphasizes the first four words in the Bible. In the beginning, God. Not in the beginning, Tony. But in the beginning. But beginning, God. And every time we pray, we're acknowledging the existence of God, the power of God, the ultimate nature of Him. We're acknowledging a reliance on Him and in Him." [01:06:05] (52 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip)

5. "In this world in which we live, we're encouraged to believe in yourself. I go to a gym, and they sell merch, and on the back of it, it says, believe in yourself, which there is some truth to that. I think you should believe in yourself. But if that's all you believe in, that's a very small thing to believe in. It's a very small thing to believe in just yourself. It's a form of living in slavery." 6. "As amazing as the universe is, as amazing as creation is, it points us to the creator. And every time I look at the ocean, I think, God, you're so good. I take photos all the time of the sunsets, and often I'll post on social media, my dad did that. My dad did that. God is incredible. He's amazing. He's big. He's awesome. So I want to encourage you, don't just let the universe speak to you. Let the God of this universe speak to you." [01:07:30] (31 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip)

7. "When we mess up and when we do the wrong things, He doesn't want us to run away from Him. He wants us to run away. To Him. My question to you is this, and if you can't answer it right now, that's fine, but maybe it's a bit of homework to do. Where's your hiding place? Where do you go when you're emotionally low? Do you bury yourself in work and hide behind the mantra, I'm supporting my family, but really we're just hiding? Do we hide behind pleasure? Do we hide behind suppressants?" 8. "Prayer is an invitation to tap into the supernatural provision of God. In other words, prayer empowers us to play our part. All of us have a part to play. And the part that God is asking us to play, more often than not, is beyond our natural capability. And so God wants to add His super to our natural. And prayer opens the door to His super to our natural." [01:18:09] (27 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip)

9. "I don't know how He'll provide, but He will provide. Do you believe that? He will provide. So right now, as we begin to sing, as we begin to worship, we're going to pray for you. So if that's you, why don't you just quickly come. Come out of the seats right now. Come to the front. And we're going to worship together. We're going to stand with you. And we want to pray." 10. "Why do we need to give our life to God? Because if we don't give our life to God, we'll give it to someone or something else. We are wired to do that. Every one of us will give our life to someone or something. And so right now we have this incredible moment to begin an incredible journey with God."
