Day 4: Living Out Our New Identity
Being adopted into God's family calls us to live in a way that reflects our new identity. This transformation is not just a change in status but a call to embrace the love and grace we have received and extend it to others. As children of God, we are challenged to live with confidence and purpose, reflecting His love in our daily interactions. This new identity empowers us to live differently, guided by God's love and grace, and to be a light to those around us. [00:11]
Colossians 3:12-14 (ESV): "Put on then, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony."
Reflection: What specific actions can you take today to reflect your identity as a child of God in your relationships and community?
