This means your life is not just a testimony of being saved. It is a tool to help save others. And I believe that's why the enemy fights reconciliation so hard, because if he can keep you bitter, if he can keep you offended, if he can keep you isolated and guarded, he can keep you from walking in your full assignment. You can preach and be unreconciled. You can lead worship. You can sing and be stuck. You can serve and be seething, but God is calling us to a higher place. And I don't know about you, but I don't want to just come to church. I want to be the church and if we're going to be the church, that means that we have to reflect the character of the one who runs to the broken, not hides from them. Our world is broken, families are divided, friendships are fractured, people are walking away from church and from God but the Bible reminds us we serve a God who doesn't wait beyond locked gates, he's a father who runs after and he pursues. [00:14:42] (21 seconds)  #GodRunsAfterTheBroken

The whole time when I was going through this season, I was going through the motions. The whole time God was still wooing me back. He was loving me back. I didn't find God again. He found me. Aren't you glad that God will see you off? He will see you in the distance and he will come and pursue you. [00:16:43] (19 seconds)  #GodFindsYouFirst

Some of us are more comfortable performing than we are repenting. But healing is on the other side of that honesty. And here's the thing. True reconciliation with God or others can't happen until we stop rehearsing excuses and start releasing truth. The younger son's healing didn't begin when he left the pig pen. It began when he said, I have sinned. [00:27:44] (34 seconds)  #TruthReleasesHealing

Some of us have to forgive people for being forgiven. I know it sounds strange, but the reality of it is some of the hardest people to forgive are the ones God blesses publicly after we saw their worst moments. When grace shows up and restores them, we wrestle because we wanted justice instead. [00:36:30] (30 seconds)  #ForgivingTheForgiven

The journey back to Jesus is not a long one. And here's why. Because he's running back to you. The road to redemption is not a long road. The road, he's running back to you. And so if you're here today and you feel like you've just been going through the motions of your relationship with Jesus. While doing your own thing. God says, come home. Come home. There's no penance. Just come home. There's no punishment. Just come home. Everything that you left is still yours. Grace is still yours. Joy is still yours. Unconditional love. It is still yours.
