These babies are so small and so helpless. They don't even know what. They don't know what they need. They don't know how to survive. They don't know how to do anything. They are 100 % dependent. And while I'm sitting there, I feel a conviction. The Lord's like, do you, are you dependent on me like that? Are you willing to submit yourself and just lay up under me knowing that you don't even know what you need? [00:52:35] (25 seconds)

I believe sometimes we, we misunderstand. What our purpose is. Our purpose is to be here to surrender our lives. To surrender our lives. To Christ. This world celebrates independence. It celebrates. me being able to do it myself so I could proclaim that I didn't need anybody's help. I did it all on my own. I'm successful because of me. [00:54:58] (26 seconds)

But when you recognize who Jesus is and what he did for us, you understand that there is nothing that you have accomplished without him. We see it in society. Marriages are at a 50 -year low. People are not getting married. And when you ask these people who they survey, they said, if I get married, I'm going to have to give up my independence. [00:55:24] (23 seconds)

It seems like when things are going wrong, we try to fix it ourselves. And when things are going wrong, we try to fix it ourselves. And when things are going wrong, we call Jesus after we have exhausted all the possibilities. After we realize that we can't do it on our own. Jesus is saying, if you would just learn to call on me first. [00:56:02] (14 seconds)

Those of us who have accepted Christ, John says that we have overcome already. It is a birthright. That is a privilege that comes with accepting Jesus. The problem is that there is a disconnect because sometimes we have forgotten our birthright and we are living beneath that privilege. We have the ability to overcome and we are doing it, but sometimes life circumstances get in the way. [00:59:21] (29 seconds)

Sometimes our circumstances say that we are overwhelmed and we're stressed and we're too worried about what tomorrow is going to bring that we forget who our savior is. We have to understand that we are more than overcomers. I hear it time and time again that we have not accepted everything that comes with that privilege of being saved. The devil has us in bondage. [01:00:10] (31 seconds)

You can be saved and accepted Christ and not be an overcomer you can be saved spirit filled and not living your life as an overcomer why because we believe the lies that the devil have told us today we want to break free of that bondage today we want to stop believing those lies so overcome means to prevail to win to be victorious of a cause during a particular difficult and challenging circumstance [01:01:32] (36 seconds)

Can you resolve in yourself that if you don't receive that miracle on this side of heaven, that it's okay? Because I know where I'm going. And I know where my hope is. We need to be overcomers. It has nothing to do with our circumstance. I've been in education for 25 years. It's hard to believe. It's more than half my life almost. [01:07:30] (24 seconds)

We have to start seeing Jesus in a new light. I think sometimes we forget that he's also the son of God, but we look at him as the son of man only. We have to understand that he's both of those things. He came as the son of man, but don't forget that he's also the son of God full of power and glory. We have to remember that. [01:11:27] (23 seconds)

And they conquered him, meaning the devil, by the blood of the lamb. And the word of their testimony. For they love not their lives even unto death. Number one, the cross has to be my identifying source. It has to be my identifying source. When people look at me, they need to see Jesus. If they look at me and they see a coach and they see an educator, then I have failed in representing Christ. [01:16:29] (27 seconds)

Why is it not just enough to say God is because God has given the power to Jesus. He says, at the name of Jesus, every knee shall bow. At the name of Jesus, every tongue shall confess that he is Lord to the glory of God the Father. See, you don't want to be the first time that you confess Christ to be on that. You don't want to be the first time that your knee hits the ground to confess that he's Lord on that day because it's too late. [01:18:14] (27 seconds)
