When everything around us seems to be falling apart—whether it's government, institutions, or even our own plans—God remains the unchanging source of hope. Shifting our trust from worldly systems to God allows us to stand firm in joy and peace, even when darkness and fear threaten to overwhelm us. As believers, we are called to be voices of hope, courage, and salvation in a world that desperately needs light. No matter how bleak things may look, God fills us with hope through the power of the Holy Spirit, enabling us to shine and encourage others. [54:55]
Romans 15:13 (ESV)
"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope."
Reflection: Where have you placed your hope lately—in people, systems, or God? What is one practical way you can shift your hope back to God today and be a voice of hope to someone around you?
Fear and confusion are tools the enemy uses to paralyze and silence us, but God has given us a spirit of power, love, and a sound mind. When fear tries to take hold—whether about our health, future, or the world—we are called to resist it and instead embrace the authority and clarity God provides. By choosing love over hate, power over weakness, and a sound mind over confusion, we can stand strong and push back against the darkness, knowing that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world. [58:19]
2 Timothy 1:7 (ESV)
"For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control."
Reflection: What fear has been hovering over you lately? How can you actively resist that fear today and choose to walk in God’s power, love, and a sound mind?
Jesus’ mission was not just to save us for heaven, but to actively undo the works of the devil here and now. Everywhere Jesus went—healing the sick, forgiving sins, raising the dead—He was plundering the devil’s house and reclaiming what was lost. As His followers, we are empowered by the Holy Spirit to continue this work, taking back what the enemy has stolen in our families, communities, and nation. Salvation is not just about waiting for heaven, but about joining Jesus in His mission to bring God’s kingdom to earth. [01:18:37]
Matthew 12:29 (ESV)
"Or how can someone enter a strong man's house and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man? Then indeed he may plunder his house."
Reflection: What is one area in your life or community where you see the enemy’s influence? How can you, through prayer and action, begin to “plunder” that area for God’s kingdom this week?
God has uniquely gifted and called each believer to play a vital role in His body, the Church. Whether your passion is education, justice, healing, or another area, you are set in the body as it pleases God, and your calling is essential to the mission of making earth more like heaven. As you seek God and begin to serve, He will reveal your place and empower you to make a difference, both in the church and in the world. No calling is insignificant, and together, as one body under Christ, we can see communities and nations transformed. [01:33:47]
1 Corinthians 12:15-18 (ESV)
"If the foot should say, 'Because I am not a hand, I do not belong to the body,' that would not make it any less a part of the body. And if the ear should say, 'Because I am not an eye, I do not belong to the body,' that would not make it any less a part of the body. If the whole body were an eye, where would be the sense of hearing? If the whole body were an ear, where would be the sense of smell? But as it is, God arranged the members in the body, each one of them, as he chose."
Reflection: What passion or burden has God placed on your heart? What is one step you can take this week to begin serving in that area and discover your kingdom calling?
God’s plan is to show His goodness to humanity and to restore us to our rightful place under His authority. Through Jesus’ death and resurrection, all things have been placed under His feet, and He has given the Church—the body of Christ—the authority to bring His will to pass on earth. No matter your past or how unqualified you may feel, if you are human and believe in Jesus, you are qualified and authorized to make a difference. God wants to use you to bring His kingdom, power, and love into every sphere of life. [01:26:02]
Ephesians 1:17-23 (ESV)
"That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him, having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to the working of his great might that he worked in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and above every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come. And he put all things under his feet and gave him as head over all things to the church, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all."
Reflection: In what area of your life do you feel unqualified or powerless? How can you step into the authority and goodness God has given you through Christ and begin to make a difference today?
Today, we gathered in gratitude for the access God has given us to His presence, remembering that we are no longer orphans but beloved children brought near by His love. The heart of salvation is not that God simply overlooks sin, but that a perfect, innocent, and willing Savior—Jesus—took our place, bearing the punishment we deserved. Through His broken body and shed blood, we are forgiven, cleansed from guilt, condemnation, and shame. This forgiveness is not a passive gift; it is an invitation to participate in God’s ongoing work of restoration and hope in a world that often feels dark and hopeless.
We are reminded that God is the God of hope, even when every earthly system fails us. Our hope must be rooted in Him, not in governments, institutions, or people. In times of fear and confusion, God calls us to resist the spirit of fear and instead embrace power, love, and a sound mind. The enemy’s strategy is to paralyze us with fear and hopelessness, but God’s strategy is to fill us with His Spirit so we can stand firm, be a voice of hope, and shine in the darkness.
God’s goodness and severity are both real—He judges evil, but He shows goodness to humanity through Jesus. No matter our past or our sense of unworthiness, if we are human, we are qualified to receive His grace and participate in His mission. God’s plan is not just to save us for heaven, but to use us to make earth more like heaven and less like hell. This is the essence of “plunder”—to take back what the enemy has stolen, to undo the works of darkness, and to bring God’s will into every sphere of life.
Each of us has a unique kingdom calling, a place in the body of Christ where our gifts and passions can be used to bring transformation. Whether in education, healthcare, government, or any other field, we are called to be ambassadors of God’s love and power, making a difference in our communities. As we seek God and serve, He reveals our calling and empowers us to restore, heal, and bring hope. Together, as one body under Christ, we are sent to change the world, one life at a time.

2. 2 Timothy 1:7 (ESV)

God is where our hope can come from. Even when we've come to the place where we've had hope in this. Like we had hope in the banking system, or we had hope in the Senate, or we had hope in the Congress, or we had hope in the President, or we had hope in the Supreme Court, or we had hope in the school system. Whatever we had our hope in and all of that fell down, God is still our hope. And if we will shift our hope out of the government, out of the school system, out of all of these things that we made, if we'll shift our hope back to God, then in the midst of what looks like a dark and drowning situation, we can still have hope. Somebody has got to be able to stand while everybody else is sinking in darkness, sinking in hopelessness, sinking in fear. There's got to be a voice. And God wants you to be that voice wherever you are, wherever he puts you on Monday or Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday. God wants you to be a voice for hope. God wants you to be a voice for courage. God wants you to be a voice for salvation. God wants you to be a voice for love. Wherever you are, this is the time for you to shine, no matter how dark it may feel. [00:56:02] (35 seconds) #VoiceOfLight
Now, a lot of times what we've gotten in our hearts and in our minds is that salvation is. You know, I get saved, I come sit in church, and then I go home. And then after so many years, I die and I go to heaven. And dying and go to heaven is what we think Christianity is all about. I get to die and go to heaven. But heaven is your reward after you have done your work in the earth. Don't misunderstand me. Don't think that. I'm saying you are working for heaven. You are anointed to take back what the devil has stolen from our people, and then you get to rest in heaven. [01:20:52] (48 seconds) #WorkThenRest
You've not given up on humanity. You've not given up on the human race. You've not given up on our families or our children or our children's children. You've not given up on us. And, Lord, we come to you with all of our weaknesses. We come to you with all of our mistakes, all of our sins. We recognize today it's because of our sins we deserve to go to hell forever. But you love us. You love us. Thank you, God. [01:41:44] (34 seconds) #HopeForHumanity
