"Man, he's so good. He's so faithful. Even when we're not faithful, he chooses to be faithful. Man, I was reflecting on that this morning, that God, I don't know why you continue to be faithful when I'm not faithful. I don't know why you continue to love me when I seem so unlovable, but God, I'm so grateful for your mercy, and I'm so grateful for your grace that continues to choose me." [00:00:06] (19 seconds)

"The Bible says this, for the word of God is alive. It is alive. It is living like an organism. It is active. It is constantly in motion. It doesn't stop. It's never stopped. It continues to be in play and continues to be in motion because in the beginning was the word and the word was God. It is active. It is sharper than a double-edged sword. It penetrates even dividing soul and spirit and joints at marrow. It judges the thoughts and the attitude of the heart." [00:14:23] (31 seconds)

"We read because it serves as a moral compass for our Christian lives. It serves as a moral compass. Listen to second Timothy, all scriptures God breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training. In righteousness. And here's something that we don't like. God forbid one of you do something wrong and you get rebuked." [00:17:43] (27 seconds)

"We get together in prayer circles. Oh, Holy Spirit, come. Holy Spirit, come. We want revival. We want you to move. And God's like, I want you to move too and live my word out. Because here's revival. A true mark of revival isn't an altar call, please. A true mark of revival is community transformation. That means that somewhere up here, something done touched you, done hit you, the Holy Spirit done moved in your life and you went out there and you applied it. And all of us did. And so our community is transformed." [00:35:26] (30 seconds)

"James 1, 22 says, do not merely listen to the word and so deceive yourself. He says, actually do what it says. Do what it says. Don't be deceived. We're deceived when we think that just by hearing and knowing that we're spiritual giants. We actually have to put into practice. Let me tell you something. As your pastor, there are times when I'm not in my word as much as I want to be." [00:36:21] (23 seconds)
