Like Moses, whose life was intricately woven by God from birth, we are called to trust in His plan and timing. Exodus 3:11-12 (ESV): "But Moses said to God, 'Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the children of Israel out of Egypt?' And so that was one of those things that was kind of a mixed blessing. Because you got to see God work in people's lives and see him do amazing things. Because for an entire week, you have students that are focused. They're focused on God. [00:31:54] (15 seconds)

And so Matthew realizes, I think, in the midst of Jesus coming to have a conversation with him when others would not have a conversation with him, that there's something special about this man, and there's going to be something special about this relationship. [00:44:13] (15 seconds)

And so Jesus, as one of the Jews, comes up to him and begins this conversation. This conversation with him. I'm sure the first exact words may not have been, follow me. [00:44:54] (14 seconds)

And so the disciples, even though they're the very ones that are getting questioned by the Pharisees here, they're like, this is what obedience looks like.
