1. "You can only talk about what you've been through. You can only talk about what you've experienced. Amen. Amen. And so we continue this series. We kind of recap from last week, verses one through six. We talked about the God's omniscient, that is, he's all-knowing. He knows who we are. He knows what we're going to say. He knows what we need. And that in itself is convicting, but it just shows how much God knows about us."

2. "Now, we can't be in more than one place at a time. I don't care what you saw on TV. We can't occupy two places at the same time. And that's what David realized when he wrote this prayer song for the choir master. It was a song based on his relationship with God. You can only talk about what you've been through. You can only talk about what you've experienced."

3. "I don't know how that makes you feel when you sense that no matter where you are, whatever you're going through, that the God that we serve is with you. Do you feel that way? Sometimes you feel like we're all alone. Nobody's answering the text. Nobody's picking the phone up. And you're down in the dumps. But know today that God is with you."

4. "No matter what you're going through, that if you serve a God who's already gone ahead of you and made the crooked places straight and the rough places smooth. I don't know about you. I try to picture that thing in my mind that I don't know what I'm getting ready to go into. But God says you're already there. You're already at my desk at work. You're already at my house before I get there. You're already set up. Saying, welcome home."

5. "Isn't that good news today to know you serve that kind of God? And I think in pictures I could see that, that no matter where we are. And it says even there, wherever you're there is, your hand will guide me. Your right hand will hold me fast. Isn't that reassuring? That God is a keeper. He will keep you."

6. "You may feel like you're in a low and dark place, but God would allow light to come in to that space. Scholars believe that the word light and darkness are used both in the old and testament, old and new, as metaphors for good and evil. Security in danger, joy and sorrow, truth and untruth, life and death. But in the presence of God. Night shines as day."

7. "The God that we serve does that. He illuminates it. He turns on the light of our understanding. Have you ever been confused and then God's shown some light on it? You Bible students say, I got my little handbook, but the Holy Spirit will illuminate some things in your life. All of a sudden, the light goes off. Amen. Oh, thank be to God today."

8. "You little light bearer, you. You're going around just trying to spread some light. Didn't say a mumbling word, but folk look at you and say, there's something a little peculiar about you. There's something a little different about you because the light of the Lord is shining through us. Amen. Oh, thank you, Lord."

9. "He promised that goodness and mercy would follow you all the days of your life. Don't look now, but he's right there. Oh, you felt him before. In your experience, you felt all alone, and you realized that, God, you're with me. You felt kind of down. You realized that, Lord, I'm already there. You are with me. Don't look now. He sends some peace and some joy and some happiness."

10. "All I'm saying is that when you get there, he's already there. That when you show up, he's already been there for a while. Aren't you glad today that you serve that kind of God who knows the real me? That is the word of God today. Already blessed. As I'm driving along and realize, oh, I meant to turn there. But wherever you're trying to get to in your journey, God has already gone to that place. He's waiting for you to get there."
