And what is so wonderful about this is that God comes into our condition of hopelessness, of despair, with fresh promises and fresh vision. And I think that's remarkable that he, it's so typical of the ways of God that we, when we feel barren, maybe ashamed of what we've done in our past and just wish we could have a fresh beginning and get rid of it all, and yet God comes in and he speaks right into that place of pain where he says, for the sons of the desolate one will be more numerous than the sons of the married woman, says the Lord. [01:14:10] (50 seconds)  #GodsFreshPromises

And you see 50 years ago I was a long way from that hey 50 years later I'm a long way from that but the way maybe is this long rather than that long because god's done a work in my life and it's like um david garrett just said to me this morning sometimes you go through these things for god to do something in your life thank you david but what he said is true and lots of people would pray oh god rescue me from the pain from the trauma from all the stuff and i learned years ago that's the very wrong prayer to pray the prayer is lord do what you need to do in my life as quick as possible through this trauma hey anyway he's transforming me and i was confronted and still am confronted with the need to change [01:25:55] (72 seconds)  #AbundantLifePromise

Jesus gives life, gives power, gives fruitfulness. He says the sons of the desolate will be more fruitful than the sons of the married woman. So I've got a future and a hope. [01:31:00] (17 seconds)  #GodOfSecondChances

And what we do is we surrender ourselves to those things and think, well, that's life. It's not life. It's not life. Because the sons of the desolate will be more fruitful than the sons of the married woman. It is not life for tragedy after tragedy, broken relationship after broken relationship. This is a flippant curse. And this is the devil and demon spirits that are doing that. But Jesus said, I've come to give life and to give it more abundantly. I'm called to live an abundant life. [01:31:55] (41 seconds)  #ForgetShameHeal

Now listen, when you are desolate, rejected, broken, hurt, traumatised, you've been through hellish background or whatever, do you know what people do? Is they isolate. They isolate for fear that someone would see the shame of their youth. the shame of their broken marriage or the shame of their torment or whatever. And a lot of people like that. They create an acceptance of failure. See? And the prophet says, Nah, you've got to stop surrendering to all of those negative things. You've got to come out of your emotional hibernation. [01:32:54] (54 seconds)  #SupernaturalRenewal

I'm going to give you two things that have helped me. Number one is don't surrender. Don't surrender. Amen. what you're facing is not normal and it's not God's best and it's not God's way go do something go do something that's abnormal challenging that's requiring a new level of faith you've got to do something and maybe the thing that you have to do is just talk about it talk about what's in your heart because what happens is people have been severely traumatized whether it's sexual abuse incest or whatever rejection broken marriage violence blah blah they go into emotional hibernation as I said but what happens is they never talk to anybody and they're afraid to talk about their pain for the fact that they might lose control I've talked to many people like that where they actually I can't talk about it and yet you know and I often know by word of knowledge what's going on but they've got to talk about it it's got to come out in the light bring it out in the light and God will begin to deal with it [01:34:53] (81 seconds)
