If I were to put what God's put on my heart into just two words it would be, say yes. Say yes. Isaiah chapter six and verse eight. Now father, I thank you for the touch of heaven on this moment in this church. I thank you Lord God for how faithful you have been. [00:01:00]

I want you to notice that at this point in Isaiah's life he's not on the mountaintop in his own self assessment anymore. He has been in the presence of the Living God he has come undone in God's presence he has realized that he has nothing in himself to speak about the holiness of God. [00:02:39]

Ironically as you draw closer to the Lord, quite often you'll start to feel that undone this in your heart because flesh cannot stand in the presence of a holy God and everything of the human spirit is suddenly exposed for what it really is and in the midst of his undone this. [00:03:09]

David Wilkerson was 8 years old when he was in a tenth Crusade and heard a preacher calling to full abandonment to the will in the ways of God and at the age of eight he responded to that calling he went forward in a tent I saw this tent fell on his knees and said yes to God. [00:04:59]

A few years later he said yes to the call to study and to prepare for the ministry as Paul says in 2nd Timothy chapter 2 and verse 15 be diligent to present yourself approved to God a worker who does not need to be ashamed rightly dividing the word of truth. [00:05:46]

It's so important young people today listen to me you have to study now in this generation you have to be able to intelligently first of all understand who you are in Christ and secondly you have to be able to present the truths that you believe in a way and there's an intelligent way to present that truth. [00:06:13]

So many people despised the day of small beginnings but David Wilkerson didn't despise that day so many people want to get a call of God and go right to the top they want the crowds they want the notoriety they want all of the accolades that come with successful ministry but they don't want to start where you start. [00:07:41]

The willingness to look like a fool that Christ might be exalted the willingness to walk a pathway that we don't necessarily understand with our natural mind but we've made a choice in our heart to obey God in the latter part of his life after huge success establishing Teen Challenge all over the world. [00:10:28]

You see our Savior Jesus Christ said yes when he didn't want to go to the cross but the will of God was clearly stated that he should he said yes when he didn't want to suffer he said yes when he didn't want to suffer betrayal he said yes and because of his yes you and I are here today. [00:13:09]

I believe that the eyes of the Lord are constantly going to and fro throughout the earth looking for somebody that he can show himself strong through somebody that is simply willing to say yes God I will abandon my plans I will abandon my image of myself I will not be hindered by my sense of smallness. [00:13:50]

It's the men and women who say yes to God it's those who the choice regardless of age whether they're eight years old or 70 years old they still say yes to God when he calls them they make the choice to study to show themselves approved unto God work men work women who are not going to be triumphed over. [00:14:49]

It's people like you and I who just when God begins to say put that away we simply say yes there's no debate there's no argument we simply put it away even if there doesn't have to be an evil in it don't misunderstand me it's just something that's occupying your time it's dulling your heart to what God has for your life. [00:16:05]
