Every person has a unique calling and anointing placed on their life by God, not according to their own works, but according to His purpose and grace. It is easy to get sidetracked by the desires and distractions of the world, but God has set you apart for something special that only you can fulfill. Recognizing and embracing this calling means understanding that your life has divine significance, and that God has equipped you with everything you need to make a difference. You are not here by accident; you are here for such a time as this, with a holy calling that was given to you in Christ Jesus before time began. [23:27]
2 Timothy 1:9 (ESV)
"who saved us and called us to a holy calling, not because of our works but because of his own purpose and grace, which he gave us in Christ Jesus before the ages began,"
Reflection: What is one area of your life where you sense God calling you to step out in faith, and how can you take a concrete step toward that calling this week?
True spiritual growth and clarity of purpose come when you submit your will to God, laying aside personal ambitions and desires. This act of surrender is not always easy, as it often means letting go of things that are fun or comfortable, but it is the pathway to hearing God's voice and receiving His direction for your life. When you choose to say "no" to your flesh and "yes" to God, you open yourself up to His guidance and the fullness of His plan. In the quiet place of surrender, God reveals His heart and His calling for you, leading you into a life of greater purpose and fulfillment. [25:05]
Romans 12:1-2 (ESV)
"I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect."
Reflection: What is one desire or ambition you need to surrender to God today, and how can you intentionally offer it to Him in prayer?
There is a difference between having a talent or a gift and being anointed by God for a purpose. When you trust the anointing God has placed in you, you allow Him to magnify your abilities far beyond what you could accomplish on your own. This trust means believing that God will use you, even when you feel inadequate or unqualified, and that His power is made perfect in your weakness. Letting your call flourish requires faith that God will open doors, provide opportunities, and equip you for every good work as you walk in obedience. [28:05]
1 John 2:27 (ESV)
"But the anointing that you received from him abides in you, and you have no need that anyone should teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about everything, and is true, and is no lie—just as it has taught you, abide in him."
Reflection: In what area of your life do you doubt God’s anointing, and how can you begin to trust Him to work through you in that area?
The true measure of a life well-lived is not personal success, but the positive difference made in the lives of others. Ministry is about going out of your way to show Jesus to someone every day, recognizing that there is a hurting world in need of hope and love. When you focus on serving others, you fulfill the very heart of God and step into the true purpose for which you were created. Each day is an opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus, to bring light into darkness, and to help heal a broken world. [29:59]
Matthew 5:16 (ESV)
"In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven."
Reflection: Who is one person you can intentionally encourage or serve today to show them the love of Jesus?
God has placed each person on earth to address a unique problem and to be part of a unified body that boldly proclaims the good news. In a world that is often divided and hurting, it is vital for believers to come together, support one another, and stand up for righteousness. Your voice and your actions matter, and when you step out in unity and boldness, you help bring revival and hope to your community and beyond. God is calling His people to rise up, be on fire for Him, and let their collective light shine for generations to come. [30:14]
Ephesians 4:1-3 (ESV)
"I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace."
Reflection: What is one practical way you can promote unity and boldness in your church or community this week?
What a humbling and powerful moment to stand before a room filled with people unified in purpose—not just to gather, but to seek God’s heart for our nation and for each other. My gratitude overflows for every person who has poured into my life, from my parents and family to spiritual mentors, friends, and even those who have gone on to be with the Lord. Their prayers, wisdom, and example have shaped me, but ultimately, it was Jesus Himself who called me, revealed Himself to me, and gave me the courage to step into my own calling. I learned early on that faith cannot be inherited; it must be discovered personally. No matter how much wisdom we receive from others, we each must hear God’s voice for ourselves and respond to His invitation.
I am deeply thankful for the legacy of humility and service I witnessed in my parents and mentors. Their willingness to put others first, to never turn away a need, and to labor tirelessly for God’s people has left an indelible mark on my heart. I am also grateful for the friends and spiritual fathers who have spoken life and encouragement into me, reminding me that the anointing of God is not something that disappears—it is passed on, generation to generation, to those willing to receive and steward it.
As I reflected on the journey that brought me here, I shared four key steps God revealed to me about embracing His call: First, do not miss your calling. It is easy to be distracted by other desires, but God has a unique purpose for each of us. Second, submit your will to God. True direction comes when we surrender our own plans and listen for His voice. Third, trust that God will speak to you about your call. Even if you come from a prophetic or spiritual family, you must seek God for yourself. Fourth, trust your anointing and let your call flourish. Too many people doubt what God has placed inside them, but when we step out in faith, God magnifies our gifts and uses us in ways we never imagined.
Ultimately, our lives are not about personal achievement or recognition, but about making a difference in the lives of others. If we are not showing Jesus to someone each day, we are missing the very heart of our purpose. God has placed each of us here to meet needs only we can fulfill. Now is the time to be unified, to let our anointing shine, and to boldly proclaim the good news to a hurting world.
I can't live off the words of mom and dad. I had to get it in my own spirit. And whether I attended church every Sunday, and I did, I still had to learn for myself and get the impartation for myself, okay? It can't be what mom and dad are hearing. It has to be what God is speaking to me. Now, what they're saying can be wisdom, and it was. But that's where I give my Lord and Savior, Jesus, the biggest thank you of anybody on my list, because He gave me those revelations. He showed me the way. He believed in me and spoke to me in my private time, and I would not be standing here today without that. [00:13:27]
It's never been about them. It's always been about God and people, and that is really what ministry is. So thank you guys for instilling that into me. Man, you know, it's—Johnny and I love you guys, man. We really do. You guys are the best. Obviously, my aunt and uncle, Pastor Shane, Pastor Christy, you guys probably bailed me out of more trouble growing up than anybody in a lot of ways. If I didn't want to go to the big dog dad, I just went to Christy and—Pastor Christy and Pastor Shane. So we kind of just took the week to let him know things. Let's just put it that way. [00:14:50]
I've watched you grow, bro, and see what you're doing with your fighting career, seeing all the mountains. I mean, I think you've climbed every single mountain in Colorado, and, you know, God needs to make a couple more mountains for you. So, but, you know, I just love that not only do you climb mountains in the natural, but you're conquering spiritual mountains. And I'm so proud of you for that, man. We support you. This whole crowd's with you, man. And I'm telling you, the devil can't hold you down, man. You stay close to God, and he's going to continue to move in your life with whatever it is that you're going and doing going forward. [00:16:01]
There's times where you were just a phone call away when I needed that extra prayer, when I needed that extra advice, that wisdom. You know, Pastor Gene says I have the right to call him uncle, Pastor Gene, or uncle. Uncle Gene. So, I do that all the time, and I love talking with him. Brother, Pastor Tony Soros, that's my guy right there. And we love every time we get together to have a little who dressed the best that day competition. So, that is an ongoing thing, by the way. So, I definitely just appreciate it. [00:16:57]
I believe no anointing leaves this earth. It really doesn't. It's just imparted to the next generation. And, you know, I want to thank Mylon LeFevre, who just graduated. We just talked on the phone literally like a week and a half ago. And I don't know if they have that picture that they can put up. But, yeah, that's the brother right there. And I remember one time in Omaha, we were driving, him and I. And the words he spoke to me about my calling have stuck with me for the rest of my life. And it will stick with me. [00:17:54]
I just want to say thank you to you guys for honestly teaching me not to quit since I was a young boy. Thank you for the gifts you guys gave me, the long dinner. You were never quick to leave. And I just appreciate that. And now I'm blessed to be connected to you guys. I would not have had a right arm or a toughness without Brett Favre. So, I believe that toughness carried into the ministry and I needed that. So, I just want to thank you guys so much. I love you guys. I'm praying so much for you guys. And we're standing with you in everything as we fight for America. [00:20:21]
Without the people, there's no purpose for ministry if we don't think of the people. We're missing the point of life if we are not considering and ministering to the people. It's not about us. And so watching you guys come and support them, and I've seen how hard they've worked. Thank you guys for what you guys do to support this ministry. Thank you to those watching. That not only do you want a touch from God, but you're coming and you're sowing your time. You're sowing your finances. You're sowing your ability, taking off work, taking off family time. [00:21:44]
Because not only do you want that touch from God and that passion to take our country back, to get the body of Christ's voice back, burns inside of you. But just also what burns inside of you is to support this ministry and my parents. And so I thank you guys for being here. This is so humbling that my ordination is in front of all of you. I can't say enough. I don't even know all your names, but I wish I did. And I just want to say thank you guys so much for being here. So give yourselves a hand. Amen. [00:22:19]
I wrote four steps for really making God's call your call. And number one is to not miss your calling. That is so important for so many of us in this world and in this season is, you know, it's so easy to get sidetracked. It's so easy to want to desire other things. That's just human nature. But I believe it's important when we submit our will to God and don't miss our calling. Second Timothy 1 9 says, who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given to us in Christ Jesus before the time began. [00:23:10]
Man, I don't think enough people realize that they have an anointing and a boldness to speak today. I wish more people would speak out. We need it in this generation. I believe in an America that's going to have its voice back. I believe in an America that's going to have its righteous liberties not infringed upon. I believe in an America where the unborn and born baby will be respected and not aborted. Come on. I believe in an America that's united once again under God with liberty and justice for all. I believe in an America where all races are unified and loving. There's no racism. [00:23:51]
You have an anointing to speak today. And listen, going into number two is submitting your will. No, when you submit your will, what is God to? Number three, he'll speak to you about your call. And that's so important. You have to submit to the voice of God. I'll tell you what right now. For years, I lived in a prophetic household where my father and my mother heard from God, but I wanted to hear the voice of God for myself. So how does that come? I had to submit my will. I had to go find a private place. I had to say no to my fleshly desires. [00:24:47]
There's a difference in fun and then saying, you know what, God, I give up those nets, as Pastor Hank said, and saying, listen, I'm not here for fun. I'm here to work for God. And eventually, that's going to be fun. Because I promise you, the hardest day in ministry is still better than the easiest day in the secular world. Because you're doing it for his kingdom. And when I realize that there's a price to pay, but it's an amazing price for his kingdom, there's a jewel that's going to be in heaven for that. And so I really just respect that God called me for such a time as this. [00:25:28]
But I want everybody to understand, you know, nobody gets to a certain place of success or accomplishes a goal just on your own. There's an anointing that's placed on you. Listen, there's a lot of people who have talents. There's a lot of people who have gifts. Okay, we can all do great things. We can all have a talent. We can all have a gift. But when you have an anointing to do something, now that is magnified a million times over. Because you've submitted to the Almighty, and now you have an anointing. [00:26:04]
We can learn gifts. We can have talents. We can learn new crafts, whatever it is, skill sets. But when you are truly anointed to do something, now you're not just mixing words. You're being pretty much talked through by the Almighty. That's the difference between an anointing and a gifting. Okay? And here's the thing. Going back to not missing your calling, here's the deal. We have to understand in this season, and I made this decision in my personal life, and I encourage those of you who are trying to find your purpose. [00:26:36]
I said to myself, I don't want to be appointed for just a specific season. I want to be anointed for life. Because if I'm appointed for a specific season, well, then God used me for this specific thing, and then I missed the promised land like Aaron did. And the children of Israel that wandered around for 40 years, and generations were lost after generation after generation. I don't want to live in that wilderness. So guess what? That means I want to make a decision in my life to be anointed for life. [00:27:14]
Now, the fourth step in this is to basically, after God speaks to you about your call, is to just trust your anointing and let your call flourish. Too many people don't trust what God has placed inside of you, and that's why they miss their mark. You know, God sends so many people to speak to you, and it's like people still can't seem to get it. We have to understand that here's the deal. We don't have time to play church to mess around. We have so much that needs to be done. [00:27:51]
God is not sending Jesus back for a church that's rebellious, a church that's divided. No. He is coming back for a revival that is here and continuing for generations. He's coming back for a church that's on fire. He's coming back for a church that's standing up for righteous liberties. And it's not going to be infringed upon. Okay? So let your call flourish. Trust your anointing. Submit your will. And God will speak to you. [00:28:28]
When you trust your call, when you trust your anointing, God will use you in a season that is better than you ever would have thought. And I'm telling you that. I never thought in my life that I would be standing here at this time. But then, all of a sudden, I submitted other things, and God showed it to me, and I started seeing it in my private time. And I'm like, you know what? I can do this. So things that went from I can't began to say I can. And that's the thing, is God will start bringing that to you. [00:29:04]
I wake up every single day with the mindset that if I am not making a positive difference in the lives of other people, I am failing at life. I have missed the absolute definition of what ministry means. If I am not going out of my way to show Jesus to somebody at least once a day. Once a day, at least. And many times multiple. There has to be more of us that are going to step out and show somebody the way. Because there's a hurting world out there, ladies and gentlemen. Let's face the facts. There is a hurting world out there. [00:29:39]
But our call, our time right now, is to be unified and go out there and preach the good news. And you, everybody in this room, have a special call, a special anointing, and an ability where God placed you on this earth. Because, you know, Anthony always says this so well. God placed you on this earth because he saw a problem that only you can fix. Come on, that's a word. Somebody say amen. Amen. [00:30:14]
