### Quotes for Outreach
1. "The book of Proverbs says that the generous will be rewarded. Those who refresh will be refreshed. You know we've had an A.C. problem... Five Stones Ministries is going to replace both of those A.C. units. Absolutely. You know. And I say that because the generous, which is Five Stones Ministries. Every time a company is ever sewn into A.H.C. They have flourished exponentially. Okay. And so I know that Five Stones, whether they need it or not, that's just the way God works. The generous will be rewarded. When they refresh someone, they too will be refreshed."

2. "People need hope. Amen. I was hopeless at one time. And we need hope. And that's why our vision statement is to be a place of hope. A place of salvation. And a place of restoration. And if we can get the message of hope out, that means the people who have no hope, who find themselves being hopeless. Maybe they're in a bad time in their life, and they're just hopeless. They don't know which way to head. But if we can get the message that there is hope, and that hope is in Jesus Christ. Amen. And that will change their life. Amen. And so that's, get that hope out there. Let's encourage people with hope."

If you like helping people who are down and out, who's had a bad turn on their life, go to the Highland Lakes Crisis Network. There'll be plenty of people that you can help. You can serve them with your time, your talents, your testimonies, even your treasures. And what happens is when you start investing that into them, when you start giving that into that charity, you'll start falling in love with the people that you're helping."

2. "If you love Jesus, you'll love the people that Jesus loves. Okay. Verse six. So we urge Titus, just as he had earlier made, made a beginning to bring also a completion to completion, this act of grace on your part. But since you excel in everything in faith and speech and knowledge and complete earnestness and in love, we have kindled in you see that you also excel in this grace of giving. In other words, I want you to enjoy it more now than you've ever enjoyed giving before."

3. "I want to lead you to a place of life. Not where you, not where you have to, but where you want to. God wants your heart, not necessarily your behavior. Okay. Works is not what motivates God. Your heart is what motivates God. It's just like in your marriage. Let me see if I can help you with this. This is not true in my marriage, but just for sake of illustration. So I'm married to cricket. You guys know that. Married 46 years this year. I've almost forgotten what it was like with not being married. But anyway, let's say I go to cricket and say, cricket, I'm not going to cheat on you. I'm going to be faithful because the law says I cannot commit adultery. Are you with me? Okay. So I really couldn't care about you, but I'm not going anywhere. I'm going to be faithful because I have to or you're with me? Let's look at the other side. Because I believe cricket would prefer me to go go, baby, I am faithful. I'm not going to commit adultery, not because of the law, but because I'm in love with you. Do you see the difference?"

4. "I want to show you a story of a fundraising campaign that I found in the Bible. Paul was involved in a fundraising campaign. He was trying to raise an offering so that he was going to give to the church of Jerusalem, the first church of Jerusalem. The first church of Jerusalem was poor. They didn't have a bunch, even though they, they were the original church. And so we know that Paul planted many churches across Greece and Turkey, right? And a lot of the new Testament writings or the books that Paul wrote were to these churches. And one of them was a little church in Greece and a little city by the name of Corinth. And so the book of course is called Corinthians. We know that he had taken this offering and he had just gotten back from an area called Macedonia, which is just North of Greece. And he comes to this Corinthian church. And this is what he says in second Corinthians eight, first one. And now brothers and sisters, we want you to know about the grace that God has given to the Macedonian church or churches. Now remember grace is I want to not, not I have to. Okay. In the midst of a very severe trial. So we know that the Macedonian church was experiencing a very, very severe economic trial. They had no money. We're in, we're talking about Macedonia in the midst of a very severe trial, their overflowing joy and their extreme poverty welled up in rich generosity for I testify that they gave as much as they were able and even beyond their ability. They gave themselves first of all to the Lord and then by the will of God also to us."

And I promise you on the other side of that relationship are all the things that you want to do, not have to do because our giving, our serving, our giving, our serving, our reading the Bible, our praying are not transactional. They are relational because we're in love with Jesus."
