"Grab a hold of those three challenges today. Prepare yourselves, cross over, and possess the land. Those are critical components for personal transformation, family transformation, and community transformation. They are invaluable to understanding what God is doing in our hearts right now here at Bethesda Community Church. There's a preparation process happening. There's a deeper understanding, a heart movement, a heart transformation as he is preparing us for our big assignment in 2025." [00:07:24] (42 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip)

"just about everything in life is filled with a nevertheless the choice and the decision that we have to make is whether that nevertheless is filled with faith or filled with fear nevertheless the people who who dwell in the land, are strong. Let's just say that's the enemy's power. The cities are fortified and very large, the enemy's possessions. Moreover, we saw the descendants of Anak there, the enemy's partnerships." "Then Caleb, oh, I love Caleb. This elder statesman, in the midst of the chorus of fear, quiets the crowd. And Caleb quieted the people before Moses and said, let us go up at once and take possession, for we are well able to overcome it. But the men who had gone up with him said, we are not able to go up against the people, for they are stronger than we. And they gave the children of Israel a bad report of the land, which they had spied out, saying, the land through which we have gone as spies is a land that devours its inhabitants." "Being grateful for the grapes enhances our faith in God. Have you ever met anyone who is grateful, who is thankful, that doesn't have abounding faith? Growing faith. Exorbitant faith. I read Colossians chapter 2 and it... verse 6 and 7 it's like a volcanic eruption in my soul and I think it will be for you if you really grab a hold of it but look what it says as you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord as we experience Christ as we receive him so walk in him you might want to just highlight that how do we walk in him so walk in him rooted and built up in him and established in the faith so walk in him as you have been taught abounding in it abounding in what as you have been established in faith abounding in faith with or the Greek word in abound which simply means you position yourself in thanksgiving." "It comes because we have positioned ourselves in gratitude. We are grateful for the grapes. We are seeing what God is doing in our lives, and because of what he is doing, our faith explodes. It abounds. It grows. It increases. Because of our thanksgiving, we're in this thanksgiving season. Isn't it wonderful when you sit down at the thanksgiving table and you eat the turkey and all of the trimmings that you have leftovers?" "Thanksgiving provides leftovers. Thanksgiving creates leftover faith that goes on and on and on. The more you're grateful for the grapes, it goes on. It goes on. It goes on. Something in you can't stay the same. It's not a status quo faith. You're rooted and built up in faith, positioned in thanksgiving. It goes on because God is a God of grace. God is a God of more than enough. God is a God of leftovers." [00:29:17] (36 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip)

"People who were not seeing the grapes, who do not understand that God is so much bigger. So much bigger than the giants. So much bigger than the grasshoppers. So much bigger than every situation. When our mess is messy, he's bigger. When our chaos is chaotic, he's bigger. When our emotions are emotional, he's bigger. He's so much bigger than every problem that we face." "Have you ever met anyone who wasn't grateful, who wasn't abounding in giving? Giving to God. People ask me, they'll say, Pastor Wayman, down through the years, they've asked the question, what is your, what is your perspective on giving? Many of you know I've preached lots of sermons here at Bethesda. You've never heard one sermon on giving. And yet people have asked me down through the years, what's your perspective of giving? Here's what I've learned in the Bible. That when you look at the Bible, you give out of love and not out of the law." [00:35:38] (49 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip)
