Dear Dr Evans I know you are a very busy man but it is my hope that you will receive and read this letter most people probably don't write letters these days but I really wanted to take the time to let you know I appreciate all you do to encourage and educate your brothers and sisters in Christ I have always struggled to understand the Bible and have misunderstood things I am extremely grateful that I found you in the urban alternative you are gifted with an ability to explain scripture in a clear understandable way and also related to everyday life I have had so many light bulb moments listening to your sermons or reading your devotional emails I am excited about my Bible study and feel like I am learning and retaining like I have not been able to before thank you for giving so generously of your time knowledge talent and heart you are a true blessing to me and so many others please never doubt that you are touching hearts and changing lives as someone who struggles with depression daily and especially this time of year thank you for giving me hope thank you for sharing Jesus and for helping me to get to know him better through you may God continue to bless you your family and your ministry and thank you for also sharing your unique sense of humor which I love it helps things to stick in my head sincerely Lisa [00:03:12]
