1. "So, the powerful verses in Proverbs 31, 8 and 9, it urges us to rise as champions for those who cannot advocate for themselves. Particularly the distraught, the poor, the needy, the homeless. You know, even sometimes it goes as far as the addict. You know, those who need the gospel and those who need Jesus. And those who need God. You know, those who need to see the light that are often found in the darkness. This passage emphasizes the importance of the fairness and justice. See, calling us to be the unwavering voices of reason in a society that frequently neglects and maybe marginalizes. It reminds us that speaking up is not just a duty. It is an essential part of living out our faith and embodying compassion." [30:03] (58 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip)

2. "By bringing attention to the challenges, we hope to foster a community. A community where everyone feels seen and valued. Now, we need to learn how to apply Proverbs 31, 8, and 9 to our lives. So, let us take a moment to reflect on what we just read and let us, our interactions. So, let's reflect on our interactions within the community. Are the individuals whose voices remain unheard? What steps can we take or what steps can you take? To become a more compassionate person. To become a more compassionate ally. Maybe, perhaps, you can volunteer at a local shelter where your presence could provide support and dignity to those in need." [32:46] (48 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip)

3. "What are we doing with what we have been given? Let me say that again. What are we doing with what we have been given? Are we merely enjoying our blessings? Or are we actively seeking ways to maximize their impact on the lives of others? So, what are we doing with what we have been given? What are we doing with what we have been given? Only you can answer that. Only you truly know your blessings, right?" [36:04] (27 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip)

4. "Our blessings can be a catalyst for hope, transformation, and empowerment. In the world around us, embrace the responsibility that comes with your blessings and watch as they multiply, not only enriching your life, but also the lives of others, as we are called to do, as we are called to bless others. See, because that is our burden for our blessings. For everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded. And for those who have been entrusted with much, much more will be asked, right?" 5. "Each time we get blessed, we have that burden on us to return that blessing in some kind of manner or way. It can only, it has to be, you know, it don't have to be money. Otherwise, it can be a simple smile, a simple hello, a simple how are you? Do you need anything? Can I help you with something? Or can I share a Bible verse with you? Can I share the Scripture with you? You know, Jesus loves you. I love you." [42:03] (30 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip)

6. "Every act of compassion is an opportunity to honor Christ. Play it with me. Every act of compassion is an opportunity to honor Christ. Again, how do you act when you're out? In public. Do you tell others about Jesus? Do you turn your nose or your head away when you see someone who is less fortunate? Or do you go up to them as Jesus would? Very important. Very, very important." 7. "Each small gesture has the potential to bring hope and healing, not only to those we help, but also to our own hearts as well. Well, then how are we going to apply this to our lives? Well, as we ponder the significance of serving, at least among us, let us commit to being a proactive in our approach. Consider how you can extend kindness and support in your immediate surroundings. Consider Are there individuals in your neighborhood, or your church community, or maybe be struggling with loneliness, financial hardship, or health issues? Take a moment to reach out. Just reach out." [50:13] (48 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip)
