God designed the church to be a living, interconnected community where each person plays a vital role. Just as a body is made up of many parts, each with its own function, so too is the church made up of individuals who are meant to support, encourage, and build one another up. When we isolate ourselves, we miss out on the richness of relationships and the spiritual growth that comes from being part of God’s household. True community is not just about attending services, but about sharing life, bearing burdens, and celebrating joys together as a family in Christ. [07:11]

For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ. For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—Jews or Greeks, slaves or free—and all were made to drink of one Spirit. For the body does not consist of one member but of many.

When the disciples were afraid and uncertain after Jesus’ death, they chose to gather together rather than scatter. This shows the importance of not withdrawing in times of trouble, but instead seeking out the presence of Christ and the support of fellow believers. In 1 Corinthians 12, he says that the church is a body comprised of many parts. In Hebrews 3, he describes it as God's household.
