How I love people matters. How I walk out on my faith matters. How I persevere through the trials that I will encounter as a believer matters. Why? Because I'm called to one another. So when I live my life a specific way, the people that I'm called to see it, and they are either affected positively for the glory of God or they're not based on how I live my life. Not only are we called to one another, but we are called through one another. What does that mean? It means that God uses people. He uses broken, messy, imperfect people to shape us. This is why community matters. [01:09:08] (19 seconds)

Community or one another is the primary mechanism for spiritual growth and life transformation. Okay? Why do I feel like spiritually I'm not growing? Why don't I feel transformation happen? Could it be that you're not in true community? [01:09:40] (40 seconds)

Proverbs 27, 17 says, as iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another. As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another. Now, this iron, sharpening iron, that happens through friction. Because y 'all only want to be friends with people you like. Amen. But guess what? When God works on your patience, how does he do it? Yeah. Y 'all caught that. Yeah. When God wants to work on your patience, how does he do it? He does it through people. Hallelujah. Through one another. [01:12:26] (47 seconds)

We are but broken clay pieces in his hands. And as much as we would like him to just zap it and make us the beautiful sculptures that we want to be, that is not how it works. He uses one another to shape us, to mold us, their words, their correction, their love, their challenges to chisel us into something beautiful. [01:13:35] (22 seconds)

Every smile, every prayer, every act of kindness takes us one step closer to being the body that God intended us to be. The church in Acts, they met daily. They broke bread together. They were worshiping together. And God added to their number. They didn't just grow in numbers. They were a force that transformed their city. [01:22:48] (26 seconds)
