Jesus came to overthrow the old spiritual administration, binding the power of darkness and establishing the authority of God’s kingdom on earth. Through His victory, the works of the devil are rendered powerless, and believers are called to walk in the reality of this new authority, reclaiming what was lost and living in the freedom Christ provides. [45:44]
Matthew 12:29 (ESV)
"Or how can someone enter a strong man's house and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man? Then indeed he may plunder his house."
Reflection: Where in your life do you need to claim the authority Jesus has given you to take back what the enemy has stolen?
Wherever Jesus went, He restored the will of God by healing the sick, casting out demons, and proclaiming the arrival of God’s kingdom, demonstrating that the power of darkness is broken and God’s authority is now present to set people free. [48:42]
Luke 4:32, 36 (ESV)
"And they were astonished at his teaching, for his word possessed authority... And they were all amazed and said to one another, 'What is this word? For with authority and power he commands the unclean spirits, and they come out!'"
Reflection: Is there an area in your life or family where you need to invite Jesus to restore God’s will and bring His deliverance today?
Spiritual authority and power flow from being under God’s authority; when we surrender to Jesus, we are empowered to walk in His victory and accomplish His purposes on earth. [54:26]
Luke 20:2 (ESV)
"and said to him, 'Tell us by what authority you do these things, or who it is that gave you this authority.'"
Reflection: In what specific way can you submit more fully to God’s authority today so that you can walk in greater spiritual power?
Jesus not only saves us but also commissions us to bring heaven’s reality to earth, using the authority He has given us to push back darkness and bring light, hope, and transformation to our families, cities, and nations. [57:57]
Matthew 6:10 (ESV)
"Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven."
Reflection: What is one practical step you can take this week to bring more of heaven’s light into a dark place in your community?
Lasting change in the world starts with personal transformation—being born again and submitting to Jesus—so that we can be part of God’s plan to make the world better, starting with our own hearts and lives. [58:50]
John 3:3 (ESV)
"Jesus answered him, 'Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.'"
Reflection: Have you truly experienced being born again, and if so, how is God calling you to participate in His plan to transform the world around you?
Today, we gathered to celebrate the power and authority of Jesus Christ, our Savior and the true Way Maker. We began by lifting up praise, recognizing that our worship deepens as our revelation of who Jesus is grows. He is not only our personal Savior, but the Savior of our families, our cities, our nation, and even the entire planet. This understanding calls us to see beyond our individual needs and to embrace the vastness of God’s redemptive plan. Jesus came to bring light into darkness, to rescue and restore what was lost, and to empower us to participate in His mission.
We were encouraged to get involved in the work of the Kingdom, especially during this special month focused on soul winning. Through events like “Heaven’s Gates, Hell’s Flames” and “Bless the Children Day,” we have unique opportunities to reach out, invite, and pray for those who need to encounter the love and saving power of Jesus. Every believer brings a unique influence, and together, we can break into the darkness and bring the light of Christ to our community.
Turning to Scripture, we explored Jesus’ teaching in Matthew 12:29 about binding the strong man before plundering his house. Jesus explained that the devil once held authority over the earth, but through His coming, a new spiritual administration has taken over. By casting out demons and healing the sick, Jesus demonstrated that the Kingdom of God had arrived, and the works of the enemy were now illegal and powerless in the face of God’s authority.
We learned that spiritual authority is not self-generated; it is received by coming under God’s rule. When we submit to Jesus, we are restored to our rightful place of authority and power, enabling us to reclaim what the enemy has stolen—our health, our families, our communities. This is not a call to beg God for help, but to stand in the authority Christ has given us, commanding darkness to flee and declaring God’s will on earth as it is in heaven.
Ultimately, the transformation of the world begins with the transformation of people. We are all in need of salvation and renewal, and only by being born again and submitting to God’s authority can we truly make a difference. As we walk in this revelation, we become agents of change, making the world more like heaven and less like hell.
Matthew 12:29 (ESV) — > "Or how can someone enter a strong man's house and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man? Then indeed he may plunder his house."

Our hope is to get people saved. To get people saved and start them walking. Walking with Jesus. So October is a soul winning Month. October is a what a soul winning month. Now every month is for us, every, every month is a soul winning top for us. But we've got all of these events and we've got some opportunities to break into the darkness and bring the light. [00:39:44] (29 seconds) #LightBreakingDarkness
Plunder means to rob of goods or wealth by open force. It's like as in war or in a hostile raid or in conquest. [00:44:13] (21 seconds) #PlunderDefined
The devil was in administration over the planet, but now the spiritual administration of this planet has changed. There's a new administration. And now Jesus says, now I'm casting the old administration out. Satan and his demons, they're the strong man that Jesus is talking about. Jesus is talking about plundering the kingdom of the devil. He's talking about taking what was taken from us. [00:46:07] (50 seconds) #NewSpiritualAdministration
To plunder means to rob of goods and wealth by open force. To plunder means it takes two operations. Two part. A two part operation. The first part is binding the strongman. Now, Jesus did that. To bind him means that Jesus disarmed him, disabled him, rendered him helpless. [00:55:19] (32 seconds) #TwoPartPlunder
But Jesus, before he said go, go plunder his house. Before he said go take back what he stole from you, Jesus first bound him up. Jesus first disarmed him, disabled him, rendered him helpless, so that when you come up in his house, he can't do nothing to you but just watch you take what he took, took from you. [00:56:08] (28 seconds) #StrongmanBound
Now you go and you don't just bet. You say, oh, God, please. Oh God, please help me. Oh God, please help our family. Oh God, please give me strength. You threw begging. Now you've been given authority to command, just like Jesus commanded. So you tell the devil, you give me back my finances, you give me back my family, you give me back my job, you give me back my health, all in the name of Jesus. [00:56:52] (38 seconds) #CommandWithAuthority
The world can't change until people change. That's why we've got to get people saved. We've got to get people born again. We're all crooked, we're all corrupt, we're all sinners. And that's why every one of us had to be born again. [00:58:26] (16 seconds) #BornAgainTransformation
