#TrustGodsProvision
“``We see that Moses had prepared the people. He was doing everything he could with what time he had left to try to get them ready for the fact that there's getting ready to be a transition. He had done everything he could for all those years even before he was the leader of Israelites. God was working in his life. And now, you have to trust God's provision. And that's the third thing. Praise God for his provision if you don't see it right away. God never leads us to change without providing what we need. You may not see it at first, the path may unfold in front of you with each step that you take, but we have to have faith in the provision.”

#EmbraceNewSeason
“It's almost as if God is saying to Joshua in verses one and two, you have mourned and grieved what is gone. Now, embrace the reality and anticipate and prepare for what will be. In other words, now is not the time to give up. Now is not the time to quit. Now is not the time to stop in this place and not move forward and think that all hope is lost because just as I worked in and through Moses, I am going to work in and through you, Joshua. I am going to move these people. I'm going to grow these people. I am going to finish the work that I started in my people. There's hope in that.”

#SalvationAndSpirit
“I want you to think today about all the things that God has given us to help us with any change we face in life. I was thinking about this yesterday and right off the top of my head, I came up with six things that are just no brainers. First of all, gives us the offer of salvation, a salvation that's been purchased by the blood of his son, Jesus. The forgiveness of our sins, the wiping clean of our slate. He has given us power over death as proven by the resurrection of his son, our savior, Jesus. He has given us the gift of the holy spirit to convict us and to comfort us and to guide us and encourage us and strengthen us and equip us to do the work he's called us to do.”

#TrustGodsWork
“they are also to trust God to do the work around them and in them and through them. God is not looking for us to have to use political maneuvering to get what we want, to get to the place where we think we need to be. God is saying, trust me in the midst of this change, depend on me and I am going to lead you through it because you're my people. My reputation is at stake so to speak. People are going to look to me and say, why can't those followers of God get along and move forward? And when there's success, you're going to praise me and you're going to say, God brought me through this.”
