42s
“But Peter's not naive. Peter knows that there's the possibility of corruption in high places. As we go along towards the end of of of first Peter, he calls Rome Babylon. He knows how corrupt they are. He knows how bad they are. Yet, just as we abstain from fleshy desires and still remain to ordinary human society, we have to submit to the human authority even though it is to pass away under the judgment of God. But the for now, we have to submit.”

“We still live in the in the not yet of the kingdom of God, and we're surrounded by people that don't care about the kingdom of God. They only care about themselves. They only care about what makes them feel good. They only care about how they can advance. They only care about how other people look at them. They only care about this and that and the other. And, when you live the life that God has called you to live, it's just a stark contrast.”
