#GodKeepsPromises
“``And what we see here is the fulfillment of these promises. And now, finally, maybe, Abraham is cluing into the fact that God is who he says he is, and he is going to do exactly what he promised he would. Abraham is realizing, God said this, and then it happened. God made this promise, and I can take that to the bank. God does not change. He is not like any other king or relative or person that I am encountering in this new promised land. He doesn't change. And so I can trust the things that he says because these terms and conditions are not subject to change. God is not some fickle god. He does not change, and therefore, he can keep his promises. And we can believe that he is who he says he is, and he will do what he promised he would.”

#GodsTimelessness
“And he's saying, no. Understand that if you looked at time the way God looks at time, a thousand years is like a day, a day is like a thousand years, for God, it is eternally now. He is an everlasting, unchanging, eternal For a God like that, how could he not keep his promises? Because he does not change. Circumstances don't change. God is never gonna come to you and say, listen, when I made those promises, things were different. Now I'm just a little hard up for cash. I just need some more time. I'm really going through a stressful period. No. God is who He says He is. He will do what He said He would. We can trust God's promises. Second,”

#LetYourYesBeYes
“the point is this. We don't need to rely on some magic words. We shouldn't say, because of who my God is, I swear by him, I will do this thing. Just do it. Just embody that faithful character where what you say is what you do. Let your yes be yes and your no be no. Just deal honestly, openly, and faithfully with people. That itself will test testify to the character of the God we serve because we can trust an eternal, unchanging”

#SignsOfGodsFaithfulness
“God, we thank you that you are who you are. We thank you that you will do exactly as you have promised, a well in Southern Israel and blood on doorposts and a rainbow in the sky and even every time we take communion, is a specific, tangible reminder of the fact that you keep your promises. You do not change, And we trust in that, God. We revel in that fact. We worship you, and we praise you. And I pray that we too would be men and women of integrity and character who keep our promises because we serve a God who keeps his promises.”
