47s
“God doesn't want us to go around with our heads hung low, moaning and complaining, maybe kinda like Solomon does here. But he wants us to have that abundant life. And how do we get that abundant life? Abundant life begins with faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Faith in the Son of God. God in human flesh came down, lived a sinless life, paid for our sins on the cross, rose again so that you and I might have eternal life by simply believing in him. It's a free offer. It's a gift. A gift from God to you.”
32s
“You're never gonna find purpose or meaning if your whole focus is under the sun, right here and now, on the here and now, that's not gonna do it. What he means by that is we need to direct our eyes above the sun. We need to get an eternal perspective and when we get that eternal perspective, that's what gives us true meaning and purpose in life. Look above the sun.”
48s
“True life is never gonna be found under the sun, but it will be found in the sun with an o, the son of God. He's life, he's purpose, he's meaning. And when you read through Ecclesiastes, don't get depressed, but understand, life is meant to be lived with our eyes fixed above the sun. Yeah, we live here and things aren't always right and depressing and kind of mundane and routine and we can get burdened down by that sometimes and that's the time to fix your eyes above. Look to God, look to his word, the encouragement.”
