#EasterJomo
“They see the true life found in and through Jesus Christ. They are experiencing Jomo. They are experiencing the Jomo that comes from Easter. And as we go out today, this is not a a fairy tale story. I know that we all, including me, are going to leave here today and we will still have fears. But may we also, like the women at the tomb, be filled with great joy. May we be strengthened by the Jomo that comes from Easter to realize that we have good news the world needs to hear, that God has loved us, that God has brought us new life through Jesus Christ, and that what happens on Easter morning changes the course of the universe.”

#FearAndJoy
“So every time we have this earthquake, it is a sign that God is doing something big. As the women come to the tomb and it is empty, this is big news. God is on the move doing something that they did not expect. They go to take care of the body of Jesus and instead find an empty tomb. Jesus is risen. And I love that they'd leave with both fear and great joy. I can relate to that. As we look at our own lives and we look at our world, there are many things for us to be fearful of right now. Situations that we don't know how they will be resolved.”
